Rob: The whole Nathan and Haley dynamic. There were just so many great moments.
Sophia: I agree Rob. It was nice to see a family doing what most families, you hope, would do in a storm. Just driving and talking and figuring it out. It was kinda cool for you guys to serve as comic relief but also in a way, fill out the whole spectrum of experience in the episode.
Rob: And what was so great about it was, I could see the fact that Nathan and Haley are still friends. They weren't just husband and wife. They are enjoying each other's company. They are having fun together and I love to see that, right? It's like they married their best friend. You have that funny comment where he's working and you're like "If I wasn't pregnant, we could have sex in the backseat". I love that! That is such -- I still dig my partner banter.
Joy: I just even loved watching him go "Well, I got a tire to change". There was no ho humness about it. There was no complaining. It was just like -- Alright, life.... here we go. What a relief! Even just within the context of a relationship. There was no drama around it. It's just like, yeah, this is what we do. I appreciated seeing that and for Nathan. His character just keeps showing up as this really great redemption story out of a really tempestuous house that he grew up in. I just really love watching his character development.
