Hey guys, sorry it's been awhile, but I had to backtrack a tad on the "Whiskey Child" film. Not to mention the whole life thing occupying time.
Here's a test shot I finished today. I think this is how I want the film to be rendered! What do you think? I am going to focus on getting the backgrounds situated next, but I'll probably bounce around on animation as well. It's going to be some time before I'm done with this project haha.

Chuck by Rob Sassi
Chuck is the second track on my solo EP. This was a studio remake of a song that I originally improvised at my ex-co-worker's house after work one day. I saw a guitar laying in his house and asked if I could jam out on it, and he complied. I normally just mess around and make up lyrics for fun. He enjoyed what I was doing. As I was about to leave, he had some clients walk in (he tattoos), which led to him saying I should make a song about everyone before I head out. I decided to record it on my phone and I liked it enough to try to capture it again with this recording. Again, everything is performed by me EXCEPT the drum kit... That was Ivan. The original song is here! P.S. The abrupt ending will make more sense in sequential order.
I've been messing around with this 80s girl puppet (I don't name anything, it's a problem).
Animating personality walks is one of the hardest thing to do in stop motion (don't believe me? try it!). I did a handful so far, but I liked these two for different reasons.
I was aiming for a more aggressive walk.

If you noticed, I’ve been posting doodle requests the past few days. The reason I’ve mainly been doing so, is because I’ve been easing into a new job, and I’ve been pretty tired. Plus, I’m currently planning out my next animated short, so there won’t be as many posts from me. It’s actually kind of liberating to do doodle requests, cause I can do them fast, loose, and I’m doing something someone wants! I’ve mainly been taking requests over Twitter, but I’m going to open it up to my tumblr as well… since I’ve been posting them here. You can request a doodle in my ask box, but I have ANON turned off, one, to block absolutely ridiculous requests, and two, I like knowing who I am doodling for. These are mainly just for fun and I’m hoping that within time, I’ll be able to pump out better work, faster. If you’re interested, like I said, send me a message!!
