We had to write a mini play in my theater class and what started out as a simple lovers quarrel "why dont you ever acknowledge problems" "why are you always focusing on the negative!" Kinda stuff, turned into a "im sorry officer I dont know What that thunk in the trunk was and I have no idea about a robbery anyway Honey Pls DRIVE."

And I think that summerizes how I write conflict pretty much to a T.

It always concerns me when anti's (or whomever) go "if you enjoy X, Y, and Z in fiction, you'll end up doing X, Y, and/or Z in reality!!"

It concerns me because... Well, one, that's just not true. And two, what little restraint must they have if they truly believe that? If they watch a movie involving kidnapping, will they go kidnap their neighbor? If they read about someone robbing a bank, will they go rob a bank? If they play a video game where they pull off a heist, will they go and attempt the same? If they read a series focusing on an extremely unhealthy relationship, will they try and emulate that and find an abusive partner? And so on.

The answer *should* be "Of course not!" But with how heavily they preach this, it genuinely concerns me. Since anti's of a wide range of ages have said this, it really does make me worried. I'm concerned for their health and safety.

Please, if you have no filter when it comes to seeing negative content in media, and feel like you need to imitate said media, please see a health professional. A therapist or a psychologist. I don't mean that in a sassy or sarcastic manner.

If you honestly feel the need to go and shoot people, steal cars, and/or rob banks after playing GTA, please seek professional help. For those that are below the age of 18, please speak with a trusted adult and seek help.

I'm not great at history and I'm probably horribly misinterpreting this, but it's so funny to me that in the 19th century the USA sent warships to pressure Japan into opening up for trade. Like imagine being mugged, but when you want to give your wallet to the guy with the gun, they're like "Hey, now hold on buddy! You can't just give me your money like that. Look, I got this awesome little plastic charms, I give you ten for five bucks, how does that sound?"

You offer to buy their stuff at a higher price, so you can get away from this stupid situation faster, but then they get mad and threathen to shoot you if you don't put up a decent bargain.

i think if i ever walked in the middle of a robbery or smth i would just make eye contact with the guy and say "i didnt see anything" and zip my mouth shut and walk out backwards bc he would have to let me go then

They go to move but feel the pressure of a gun pressed to the back of their head and a voice saying “Not a sound.” The store is being held up and they are the first captive. How do they respond?
