If Robb was being honest with himself he knew Jon was the one who’d make him lose it all. Frankly Robb was scared. If you were to ask anyone who knew Robb they’d say not much scared him not the white walkers or the Lannisters. He’d ride into war without even a flinch everyone knew he’d become the face of The North one day, that much was guaranteed. Jon scared him in an entirely different way. The pit of his stomach would burn with an ache that couldn’t be satisfied. He made Robb want to run for the first time in his life making him want to leave everything he’d ever known behind. Robb had never thought someone could mean so much it was almost as if he’d forgotten himself in the process of knowing Jon.

Robb was once a luminous bloody red but Jon’s made him an ashy burnt out grey. Robb used to think in blacks and whites, there were no in betweens but Jon clawed his way into Robb’s rib cage and made a home. Jon was like remembering and forgetting at the same time; falling and scraping your knee but doing it all over again because it was worth it.

Jon saw the messy wreck that was Robb’s inner thoughts. He’d seen the bottled up emotions that Robb once convinced himself no one would love and didn’t leave. He’d opened all of his restless thoughts even the ones Robb never wanted to admit to emotionally undressing Robb and burning kisses into the darkest places of Robb’s tiny locked box in the dustiest corner of his mind marking a before and after in Robb’s life.
