Misc emily headcanons I'll deal with after tax season p2
She and Lena basically ran into each other half a dozen times before they started dating. Some of them were even accidental
The first time was at a coffee shop they both like (the lunch food is better than their coffee).
They literally ran into each other once. Lena helped emily up and she was a little smitten
There was a lot of bad flirting each time
Emily and Lena didn't live together until close to their two year mark
They went looking for a flat together. It was a mutual move into a new place
They both play video games together. Emily likes adding mods to some of them and waiting to see if Lena notices.
She likes slipping in airplane and flight and overwatch joke mods when she can
She once replaced all of an rpg's minions with little statues of morrison. Not little morrisons. That statue. They didn't move. Think the Thomas the tank engine mod for skyrim
It glitches really bad
She also has a planet of the apes mod for the same rpg. She may have changed all the npc's names to variations of 'winston'
Lena sent winston screenshots and emily was mortified and dodged calls with him for a month. She was a little afraid he'd be upset
He may have provided her with more names
And other suggestions
Mrs. Turner is a nosy old lady who has pretty much adopted Lena and Emily as her psuedo grandkids.
She occasionally asks them to join her at the book club luncheon with the other ladies
Most of them are shop openers or landlords or other older businesswomen
Their books follow no real theme and they often take lena's book suggestions
Emily is on a first name basis with the owners of most of the food shops around her
She doesn't really cook for herself. She will always cook for others
Emily goes to yoga about as often as she sees her therapist, so once or twice a month
Yoga is run by her friend Dani. Yoga is Dani's hobby. Her real job is teaching martial arts and she's a little annoyed emily won't take proper defense lessons since she attracts trouble
Robby had his own flat in the omnic side of the city
He has a wall of yarn for when he needs to stress knit
He's stress knitted since before the crisis. One of the men in his squad taught him how

His mechanic is a short young woman who works on a boat. She's his primary mechanic and he's often refuses to see others, no matter how bad the problem
He's replaced a good chunk of his original hardware. His primary operating drive is not located in his head. It's in his chassis and he has parts of it reinforced
He does do backups of himself
He has restored one into an Alexa-style device once to have a conversation with himself.
Emily found it creepy and asked him to stop.
Emily does not like sleeping alone ans would rather stay up and work than sleep by herself
Emily goes gray at an early age, just like her Mother
Emily is the spitting image of her mum, and looks like her mum did In her twenties.
Her dad is not her biological dad
Her dad is not the biological father to five of her six siblings
She and her siblings are aware of this.

Her mum lives in Canada. No one except emily speaks to her mother regularily or even sees her.
Her step-mum runs a school and is called marm.
It started as a joke but then it stuck
