robby looking at her like he's trying to memorize her because he's still at the point where he thinks he's leaving for good. her insistence of a quiet don't do it. (I'll see you in a week!) (it's a three month sabbatical..) like fuck dude idk it was palpable to me ! and that hug looked good as fuck before jealous jack broke it up ! especially on rewatch, all of their scenes were so oughh. noelle who keeps hiding her concern behind casual. robby who definitely fucking cares more than he lets on, always starry eyed. plus I hate the "oh she was so useless" I didn't think so at all! it wasn't even that she revealed a lot about Robby in a way I don't think other characters could've, (who else was gonna give us "sleeps with the TV on, can't stand to be alone"?) she was also part of Samira's storyline with Joy and the insurance, and I liked that. she was just as willing to work the system as many others on this show.

“You know I appreciate you sticking up for me, Robert...” Belle murmured quietly, pausing for a moment as she finished applying the small band-aid to the cut on the corner of his left eye. The way she paused, with her eyes holding guilt and her voice sounding somewhat argumentative, showed she had a but to be added in there. “But you can’t keep getting into fights like this, especially when they aren’t speaking directly to you.” She hated to lecture him like this, but more than anything, she hated seeing him hurt. First it was because he wanted to see her, because he wanted to be around her, and that was before they even started doing anything with one another, but this time it was because some inmates spoke about her in such an inappropriate way - sexually.
Her thumb gently caressed over the bandage, as if hoping to provide him with some relief, and then she moved her attention to his left hand which he used to punch the other guy - four of his five knuckles having been bruised as a result. “It not only gets you into trouble, but you get hurt because of it.” Her voice was laced in concern, and even guilt, as she spoke and her eyes showed the same. Slowly, and carefully, Belle brought his hand to her lips and pressed a featherlight kiss to each knuckle, careful to avoid the bruising and hoping to provide him with some more relief and comfort, as well as convey her feelings of concern for him, and also her gratitude and appreciation for what he had done for her.
Eyes were only half open when he spoke to her, but she was awake enough to hear his words and it made her lips stretch into a wide smile, cheeks flushing just a little bit. It felt so surreal to be waking up with Robert, in her own bed, in her own home. Surreal in the best way possible because he was no longer in prison. He was out of that hell and living with her, as well as his son, and now they were able to actually sleep with one another and wake up together. Something they had never been able to do with him in prison.
“I look like a mess,” She responded playfully, a tired chuckle falling from her lips as she nestled closer to him, loving the warmth he provided. And the comfort. “You on the other hand, even with your bed head, are quite handsome.” She smirked, but his words truly were sweet and she appreciated them. “But thank you, Robert” She murmured, moving her hand to cup his cheek, savoring this moment between them; how it was real and actually happening.
“If you have a nightmare, I’m going to be right here for you.”
Those words were more than enough to make Belle relax again because chances are, she would be having nightmares tonight. Years ago, on this day, is when four men broke into her house and attacked Belle and her mother just before her father was due home. Her mother had helped hide Belle under the dining room table and had been forced to listen to the screams of her mother while they beat her for trying to fight back and escape. And then she was shot, making Belle cry out thus being seen and dragged out from under the table. She tried to fight back and tried to run, but four men and a young girl? She didn’t have a chance.
Had it not been for her father, Gaston and his father arriving just in time, she would have been killed, too. It was an event that scarred Belle so deeply to this day and it was an event that changed her life drastically. She suffered from severe depression and trauma, even had suicidal tendencies, and had received the help she needed after nearly losing her life. Eventually, she recovered and managed to move on with life, but each time this day came, so did the nightmares. Every now and then she would have a nightmare, but when the day came the number of nightmares increased. Hell, because of it, sometimes she forced herself to stay awake and just spent the night reading the book her mother gave her while having a candle lit in her honor. But staying awake all night wasn’t that easy anymore so she lit the candle, read her book and took some medicine to help sleep easily.
But sometimes the nightmares still happened and now Robert knew of that. He knew about everything that had happened to her on that day and what it did to her - it’s what had really helped them grow closer back when he was in prison because he, too, had suffered from severe depression and suicidal thoughts. And Belle shared that with him. And now here he was, in her bedroom, holding her and reassuring her that he would be right there with her if she had a nightmare. And it meant so much to her - having Robert here with her made everything okay. She wasn’t alone with her thoughts and memories anymore, she had the love of her life by her side now and he helped make this day bearable.
“I know you will, Robert, and that’s all I need. You.” She whispered, just the thought of falling asleep concerned her because of the potential nightmares, but maybe, just maybe, this would be the first night in years where she didn’t have any because ever since sleeping with Robert, well, she’d been getting the most restful and most peaceful sleeps she ever had. Her arms hugged him tighter and her head was resting on his shoulder, feeling at peace and content with being in his arms like this.

Ronan loves that Belle can be really unpredictable sometimes. For one, he never expected for her to be in love with him (and didn’t expect to love her back) and he didn’t expect her to be sexy as fuck and he doesn’t expect her to say shit about Octavia but she does lmao. In all the good and bad ways, he loves her unpredictability.

In canon, Ezra secretly admires Lincoln’s determination. He never had the guts to chase after the love of his life until he was eighteen years old and Lincoln literally will not give up on him and isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. Part of Ezra admires that because he wishes he had that kind of courage at that age haha.

04. What are their favorite traits about their lover? (one psychological and one physical)
Ronan’s been best friends with Belle for over three years (I don’t know if you know this Morgan but he transferred from Beauxbatons in his third so YEAH) and she immediately accepted this French kid and he really liked that, and continued to like it because she continued to accept him as he was even though he could be kinda a dickwad sometimes. Also she’s adorable and pure and untainted haha. Physically, he lovessss her legs and her curves.
15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.
Ronan doesn’t really have that with anyone! He doesn’t have an arch nemesis really, but there are some exes that he’d bail away from immediately. Also Olympia Bondurant. xD
17. Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?
No. This is one of the few things Ronan isn’t interested in when it comes to relationships. Marriage doesn’t mean happiness and rainbows to him, it means being trapped in expectations and that sort of thing. He doesn’t want to be a father either and he rather hates the idea he’s going to have to do it all because he’s a male from a prominent pureblood family.
18. What kind of home would they want to live in? Where would they place this abode?
Ronan grew up in a grand household, so he’d probably like to live someplace similar, or even in the home he grew up in if it’s passed down to him by any chance. He has a very particular idea of home, and it’s either going to be the one he grew up in, or something he helps create himself. As in, he’d literally build his own house. With a massive library. And rooms devoted to his nerdy passions.
24. In their own words, how would your character describe what their lover is like?
She’s adorable. She’s feisty. She’s a hell of a lot sexier than you could imagine. She’s the only girl I can love so easily. And... well, she’s my best friend.
25. Is there something traumatic from your character’s past that greatly affects them even to this day?
Not really in his past, no. Ronan had a pretty great childhood, and was always treated well, and this is probably largely the reason why he can act like a spoiled brat and why he just doesn’t understand hard ship like other people do. The only traumatic thing he’s going through it right now, as a Death Eater. He’s always had it easy and now... it’s just not going to be that simple.
28. If your character became a celebrity, what would they be famous for?
Ronan says he wants to be a famous magical historian but that’ll probably never happen so he’d probably be famous for, realistically, being a part of the family that he’s a part of or potentially as a king of that country that Colette’s family rules. Because he is, you know, engaged to her. ;]
29. What is one of the most courageous things your character has ever done for a loved one?
Ronan won’t say he loves her, but he infiltrated the Death Eaters for Octavia Bondurant (@loveshewroteme) so he could have the chance to do something for her family, get revenge for the trauma she went through.
30. When it comes to the arts (music, film, theater, etc), what does your character like?
Honestly Ronan loves it all. He’s a closeted nerd, but he adores listening to music, critiquing film, going to plays and the like, but also touring museums and art exhibits. He’s just into that whole #aesthetic.
32. If your character’s lover offered to take them out on a dream date, what would they want to do?
Ronan would LOVE to go to the Museum of Magical History in Britain and just spend the whole day there admiring everything and also making out on benches and stuff. It would be his dream.
35. Is your character afraid of death? If they got to choose how to die, how would they want to go?
Yes, a normal and healthy human fear of death. Ronan wants to make his impact on the world, and if he dies before he’s done it, then he’d consider himself a failure. If he got to choose though, it would be to die of old age, like anyone else would want. Surrounded by his books and hopefully still being a dapper little fuck.
40. Does your OC have any guilty pleasures they enjoy? Hobbies, past times, music, etc that they wouldn’t want known by others?
Ronan has lots of these. Like I said, he’s a closeted nerd, he loves all things history and all things artistic. He’s a painter himself! He loves plants and Herbology and his Hufflepuffness definitely shines through there. He’d want absolutely none of this to be known by anyone except his closest friends.
44. Is there a particular event that would emotionally devastate your character?
Ronan has close friends that, if they died, it would absolutely tear him apart. Belle is among those, and Octavia, as well as Colette. Even Harvey would do that to him. If anything happened to his family, especially his sister Moira and his mother, he’d probably lose it. Additionally, Ronan as a Death Eater, hasn’t killed yet. But if he did, he’d inevitably let his soul feel the damage from it because he’s sensitive to that sort of wreckage I imagine.
46. What is some random affectionate thing that your character always does to their lover?
Ronan likes to play with Belle’s hair, running his hands through it, sometimes just petting her, sometimes sort of twirling it. He really likes her hair haha. Also he likes to wash her hair when they’re having a bath together. >D
48. Is there anything in particular that would ignite your character’s jealousy? Or does your character not get envious?
Ronan is easily jealous. He’s fine if Belle is talking to someone that shows no indication of them liking her, and vice versa. He respects friendships obviously. He doesn’t like it though, if either party likes each other enough to raise an eyebrows, or if the other party is obviously flirting. And touching. He doesn’t like the touching thing.
