For the last few years Mac Hopwood and Bobbi Fidora have been making an impression. Like a velvet-wrapped iron-fist in red clay. It would have to be red. To hide the blood. One of many bands from the fecund musical breeding ground of Brighton on the English south coast to punch above their weight, whilst escaping larger public recognition. For those who get to see them this is a boon as it's from up close in small, tight venues, often upmarket bars, rather than through binoculars from the back of a stadium. Those of an inclination towards Siouxsie And The Banshees, Curve, Depeche Mode (those first three albums) and the denizens of similar territories could do worse than start paying attention.
