i may be known for being an avid stampgaze hater, like wouldn't rlly be a fan even if it wasn't associated with trigun, but i highkey always liked roberto. do i think it would've been a billion times better if milly was there from the start? absolutely. but if you think about it, he was more like wolfwood than stampgaze minorwhitewood ever was in a way. like in vibes ig? like the realist straightman of the group vs an angsty tsundere teenager. idk if you squint you'll see the vision. rip king, he'll live on in my heart and through the his shiny who showed up in the finale 🙏

I love that Trigun is never about Vash becoming someone or being proven wrong on his beliefs and changing them. like, from the beginning, he already knows who he wants to be, people try to convince him not to be that person, try to show him he's wrong about humanity, about the world and how to live in it, but the thing is, Vash already knows those things, and he decided who he's going to be knowing those things, he's not naive, nor is he finding out who he is, he already knows, his journey is about standing his ground on what he believes and having people stick around not because they understand him, but because they care about him and want his beliefs to survive and be proven right somehow, in other words, they want Vash to prove them wrong, because the way Vash sees the world is way better than the way they see it

Do you ever think of how Meryl probably had a hard time sleeping the first few weeks after her and Wolfwood went their separate ways post July, not just because of the horrors she witnessed and endured but also because she had gotten use to hearing the boys and Roberto snoring.

I can just imagine that that first night all alone in a single bed inn room instead of the packed cab of the truck and the absence of the sleeping sounds of her companions had to hurt her deeply.
