BATMAN BEYOND IS COMING!

‘It makes me feel free in a way I’ve never known...’ -Terry

I’ll be honest, I was a bit apprehensive, ok, more than a bit, when it was announced that Robert Patterson would be stepping into the dark to protect those still innocent in Gotham! Then it dawned on me that much of the industry chatter as well as the concept art I had seen over a year ago didn’t concern Bruce Wayne, but his counterpart in Gotham, Terrance ‘Terry’ McGinnis, the vigilante known as ‘THE BATMAN’ in the future, having taken over the name after the aging Bruce Wayne went into retirement. BATMAN BEYOND & Patterson could actually work quite well. I hope this is a success for DC Comics at the BOX office because they deserve it! Since Terry joined the DC Continuity in the comics, I’ll have to be honest & say I’ve been pleased thus far with his more modest detective work. Not nearly as smart as Wayne, but also more willing to beat the information he needs from those on the wrong side of the BAT!
