OMG OMG OMG OMG AND DUDE!!! EVER SINCE I SAW THIS DESIGN I LOVED IT!!! I don't know anything about Detroit. Didn't even know it existed before this AU... BUT THIS FITS CAINE SO MUCH!!

Also I totally bet since that tattoo is his only unhuman part (at least on the outside) that as much as he practices in the mirror, or looks human, he can never be human. His tattoo(or more like brand) is a glaring reminder of that. Thus his hatred.(seems obvious to me that that's the case but I like putting things I observe into words if I can)
