Fallout OC: robobrain Catalyst
Before the bombs, Kenneth Brown was a teenager who worked as an assistant sound technician at a Detroit radio station. Though he was brilliant, high school didn't work out for him (he got in trouble because he was autistic for 'attitude problems'). As soon as he turned eighteen, he got drafted, court-martialed and disappeared.
RB-CA001, code-named Catalyst was the first in a series of robobrains designed to build robobrains. As an invaluable tool, he was made to be near indestructible and extremely well armed
Though he was fully CODE-conditioned, Cerebral Reconditioning failed to entirely wipe his memories of his old life. Catalyst remembers being Kenneth, but he cannot disobey his primary objective. The part of him that was Kenneth is horrified at what he is forced to do, but his conditioning also gives him satisfaction at a job well done. He is stuck underground, turning people into robobrains even months after the bombs fall. Then he discovers that nowhere in his programming does it say he can't process his supervisors. With his supervisors gone, there are no new 'supplies' either, so he waits for the occasional unlucky scavengers who find their way here.
Then Crystal arrives and everything changes. She frees him, but does she realise what horror she has potentially unleashed onto the world? His promise to her is the only thing keeping the wasteland safe from him. Yet he knows he must eventually process her, too.
