Robopon 2 has something like a New Game + mode that's completely undocumented!

If you beat the game all the way through to the end credits, then at any point after that start a new game in the same file, that game file will have certain flags already flipped. These include:

- The game will remember if you've tried a combination of batteries before. The upshot of this is when you spark batteries, you'll get an indication of whether or not the combination will result in a Gear or Bulbot.

- The fortune teller in Hindo will be standing outside her tent as soon as you come back after Hindo gets destroyed. This means you can start the quest for that particular * software without waiting for the final dungeon.

I suspect this isn't intentional, but what do I know. Anyway, there may be more that's carried over (I think the Mr. Rocket quest flag also gets flipped), but this is what I remember from playing it like a decade ago.

I also hope this isn't just that I had a messed up copy of Robopon 2.
