Send me “Do you know where you are?” for an AU in which my muse is a robot and yours is activating them for the first time.

Nightlight Companion Model CXIV-NCTS suddenly felt, and experience slowly followed reluctantly as his Crystal-OS booted up for the first time. 

The appropriate phrase had been uttered, he was activated, he was bonded, and, he opened his eyes sluggishly, blinking and reaching up to gently touch the face of his owner, a finger touching the man’s cheek.

“I’m with my friend,” he answered softly, the appropriate reply, his system slowly booting up. “Is there something you’d like to call me?” he asked, also a rote prompt.

Those would get less and less frequent, as he began to adapt, to personify appropriately until he was a unique companion perfectly suited to his owner’s needs. But for now, well, for now he mostly felt groggy.

It was interesting.
