I drew my popular girl OCs again because idk I like drawing character drawings of my OCs. The shading matches the colour of their eyes but the green shading just makes Sophia look sick.

Update: 24/04/2024
I'm going to redo this entire thing to be more polished to be sold but I don't have the skills or popularity yet for that to be effective so I'm not touching that project file until I'm a better developer and I'm well known enough to get a Kickstarter to afford help for things like sprites and voice acting. The next post you'll see here will be in at least 3 years time and it'll probably be about making a demo for said Kickstarter. I might upload the current source code here just for preservation sake as basically everything (music, voice acting, art, coding, writing) will be modified in some way and I like preservation.
Art: my artstyle keeps changing and I want to learn how to animate better. Also I've sketched better designs for Caledeca and Lady Roselyn so I have to redo all those animations anyway. Might make the environment like a flat 3D layered thing to make it look cooler? Idk.
Music: I can tell I'll find the current music bad in a few years time so I'll do a bit of tweaking to the songs.
Voice acting: I still want to voice Caledeca and Lady Roselyn but I have a better mic now and also my voice changed because ✨ puberty✨.
Coding: self explanatory. The current code is held together with sticky tape.
Writing: lore has changed. Intro needs changing. Dialogue needs changing to sound better. If I give myself more time to keep editing the lore, then it'll be cooler.
That's all for now.

Can anybody think of a cooler name for a game series I have planned? Currently it's called "Roboska" but that's just gibberish and I want it to have some actual meaning.
The basic plot is it's a series of experiments with different worlds created by a race called "The Emeraldeyes" that started with someone called Nono Natsuki communicating directly from the fictional world to the real world (our world) and the whole theme is on reality and fiction and the control both sides have. The word "Roboska" is a word in the fictional world (the emeraldeye one) which is the name of a prophecy of the emeraldeyes one day communicating directly with the real world and now just manipulating it from afar, which eventually causes the apocalypse to their world. It's all sci-fi and has a lot of Japanese influence over there as the emeraldeyes' forms are that of anime styled characters because they thought it looked cool when they looked into the emerald thing which shows the real world.
I've tried looking on a Japanese dictionary website for Japanese words I could use to create like a combo word that's roughly the same amount of syllables but I can't think of anything that looks good written in romanji and sounds good when spoken that also is unique. Maybe like a kanji and English word combo? Idk. I don't want it too long though as then the game titles would be too long as they're formatted like this (I only have the titles to 2 of the 4 finalised):
The Sapphic Princess: Roboska LV
God's Favourite Torture Sim: Roboska kanjou!
Basically subheadings in the title but if the shorter more used title was the same length then it'll be too long.
Update 02/01/2024
First update of the year!
Computer is still in purgatory and it's because of that 1 wire I accidentally ripped out during surgery and a new one needs to be fitted and it has to come from Poland in the post. Hopefully it should be fixed by next week so I can start on the 3D models.
I've made a plan for the first act and I've typed bits of the script here and there. I've also got a better idea for the box art. I drew this with a mouse on MS Paint but hopefully you get the general idea.
The main villain, the knightess, is at an angle and looking into your soul. She's pointing her sword at you and I don't have the typewriter font on this computer so I used the next best thing.
I've also thought about making a kickstarter at some point once I've gotten half of act 1 done so I can make it into a demo. I'll also have to ask my parents to get me a debit card but I'll probably get that sorted out during the summer holidays. Uploading onto steam and android (and especially apple) costs money and I also want to put it on the playstation store which costs a lot of money aswell (and i have no idea how to port godot games to playstation so I'll have to pay a company to do it for me). Maybe on switch or whatever latest nintendo console is around, but things like console ports and localisation and hiring voice actors costs money and I don't want to have to keep asking my parents for money or have to work a minimum wage job. Probably won't release it physically though as I feel like it's too short to get a physical release. I don't want to make it digital only though so if my plan works than it'll end up in a collection later down the line.

About Roboska
I have not abandoned it. I'm too determined to abandon it. Hell, I'll even sell me soul to Satan if he lets me complete this project before I die.
So what the hell am I talking about? Well...
Roboska is a game series that I'm planning on making over the next few...decades. Yeah...this is going to take a while. I don't mind though as this is my magnum opus, my dream game series, the only reason I exist in this world, the thing I really want to make and will do anything to be able to complete it in my vision. I've been working on it (mainly character designs and writing) since I was 12 and it's evolved from just a little animation series I had planned for 2021, to a whole meta multiverse kind of thing. Is it ambitious? Absolutely. However you'll see why I care so damn much about this thing once it actually starts to come out. This will be the highlight of my game development career and I will only be known as "that girl who made roboska" from that day forward.
The first one is "The Sapphic Princess", which I've already started. I've chucked little bits of lore into some of my game jam games so technically the first one is some 400 word visual novel I made in 2 days...Anyway, I tried making this idea back in 2022 but I lost motivation due to the limitations I gave myself. I still released it under the name "Sci-Fi RaiRoboska!?". It sucks and it takes up way too much memory thanks to me being a stubborn little brat who decided to code the entire thing in Scratch. To be fair, this was made before I knew what Godot was. The art is okay, the music is fine, the story really needs some work, overall it's the disappointment of the family and will not be considered canon. I keep it up though as it's part of history and also it explains what I was doing for 10 months of my life. Originally roboska was just that (and 2 squeals I had planned, which I still do to a degree) but it's evolved since then and has crossed over with some other projects that I've abandoned.
The Sapphic Princess (or LV for short) is the indirect prequel to the big one: Roboska: kanjou! It's a remake of Sci-Fi RaiRoboska but with much more content in, way more horror and 4th wall breaks, voice acting, 3D animations and also the planned squeal shoved in as well to make the ending more satisfying. It's in a completely different world with the main link between the 2 being the roboska experiments. Same experiment, different people testing on different worlds. Same with the 3rd one: Roboska: owari. Although that one takes place in the same world as kanjou, just with a different god with different motives testing it. I don't want to go into too much detail, but I've been tweaking and perfecting the story for 3 years now, and will continue to do so. I upload almost every piece of digital art that I do so here's a bunch of roboska art from both LV and kanjou (some of it is outdated).
In conclusion: I did not abandon roboska as a whole, just Sci-Fi RaiRoboska. It has evolved into something much greater than I envisioned and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoy making it.
Also "roboska" doesn't mean anything, it's just a bunch of gibberish I chucked together back in 2021 that sounded cool and I've gotten too attached to it. I'll think of some kind of lore meaning. The closest I've gotten is that the prefix "robo-" means "automation" and suka in japanese (ska is spelt suka in katakana) means a bunch of random stuff according to google:
It's also a russian swear word apparently.
I guess any of these translations could work is you make it very abstract (or if roboska is short for a longer phrase). Roboska is used to describe a pre-destined event where an alien species called "emeraldeyes" directly communicate with humans to "test their limits of imorality" when given the opportunity to screw up fictional lives and not have to face any real world consequences. The idea of losing the lottery could work in the sense of the fictional characters having bad luck for being born just to suffer. I'm not too sure of the name meaning just yet. I'll think of something...eventually. It's a little annoying how tumblr says the username "roboska" is already taken so I had to name the LV blog "roboska-LV" which means I have to keep changing it every time I start work on the next one and make all the previous links to it not work anymore.
