Been spending some time the last couple of days sketching out character designs for a comic I need to get back to (Demon Daze)

Been working at it slowly, but it’s coming along

Lucy already has a design, she is the main character after all

Satan took a bit to figure out, I knew I wanted her to dress really militaristic (the Prussian army helmet came to mind almost immediately), but outside of that it took a bit. Tl;dr, she’s a rat, very tall, quick to anger, strict and orderly. She would get very mad and disciplinary if you ever offered her a cheese, but she will be “confiscating” it anyway, thank you very much.

There’s also Beelzebub, who outside of being generally fly themed also took a bit to figure out. She’s Lucy’s second in command and most trusted ally. She’s long past her days of leading revolts and getting out on the battlefield, but as the head of the order of the fly and being deeply skilled in strategy and rhetoric, she has plenty of influence to swing around. Also, she’s a gourmet, personally overseeing the palace’s kitchens and getting her hands dirty cooking herself from time to time

She’s also in a romantic relationship with Lucy, yuriful things are bound to occur

Demon Daze - Pilot

Pilot for an idea I had somewhat recently

The basic idea is this; A random guy dies and gets reincarnated as Lucifer (with some fun creative liberties). Shenanigans ensue.

This is mostly just a proof of concept of what I want the comic to be, and more or less an excuse to play around with surreal comedy, as well as writing for, and illustrating comics

You ever just have a creative moment at 1 in the morning when you’re trying to sleep, but have to get it down to paper or else you’ll forget it?

Meet Mammon, or Manny as he prefers to be called, a robot working at a hell themed hotel and casino in Vegas called “The 7th Circle”

Despite the unmoving evil, malevolent grin, he’s anything but evil, always very friendly, willing to help those who ask, and very much dislikes greed and gambling

In terms of other details, he can’t emote very well, what with his face being made of solid plastic/metal, only having the malevolent expression he was built with, he tends to use his tail and voice to help convey what he’s feeling, he was also supposed to have wings, but they broke off during shipping, and were never fixed

He’s also in a relationship with Amie, discovering a love of music through her, as well as learning to play guitar
