I couldn’t decide on just one, so I have the Fool of the Void Suit from Tarot of the Silicon Dawn, and The Fool from Robotarot.
The Fool is my trump card. Whenever I doubt myself, he decides to pay a visit and let me know that taking a leap is possible. Whenever I do not recognize harm done to me, he is reversed and lets me know I should not remain naive.
The card with a single butterfly is from the Void Suit of Tarot of the Silicon Dawn. I think this could be read in a variety of ways, depending on the way in which it is oriented during a reading. This direction is the most hopeful to me- it look like it is traveling upward into possibility. But in any other direction, it could mean the very same thing- traveling onward, in space where there is no up or down of gravity, no logic- and more endless possibilities.
The card with the robot is, obviously, from the RoboTarot. They have been hit by a bolt of lightening, and while it is a painful experience, it is one that results in knowledge. For better or worse, there is something learned from it. I love that this communicates one of the ideas of the Fool without the usual cliff imagery- it still represents a risk taken in answer to an opportunity. Whether this risk was worth taking, the card can’t say on its own.
Both decks have multiple Fool cards- a welcome addition for me, each with details that give them a unique reading.

Month of Spreads, Day 4
LINK TO SPREAD
1. What needs my attention?
Sounds silly but my attention needs my attention. My focus is being pulled and I need to hone in on one thing at a time for now. Break down tasks and pull focus one step at a time.
2. What am I focusing on instead/ What is distracting me?
There’s two ways to read this- one is, its calling me out for distracting myself with divination challenges lol. The other is mental detritus and internal thinking, when my external responsibilities are what need my focus.
3. How can I shift my focus?
Get out. Get out and about and get among people and get working. That is a callout, as I’ve been trying to work from home as much as possible.
4-5. What resources can I use to help keep me on track?
The Magician- I do actually have special knowledge in the stuff I’ve been working on lately, and I can focus on what I’ve achieved to remind myself that I can move forward with what I need to focus on.
The Fool- look forward to the next venture. Better things are coming.
I also.... read that Fool a little bit like The Lovers as well, for obvious reasons. I have tenuous but grand future plans with my primary partner, and that has been the big driving motivation for me lately. My work lately has been done in order to bridge the gap between that dream and creating a reality.
