1. If you could travel to one place you’ve read about in a book, what place would you visit, and what book is it from?
Not trying to be a Twoflower here, but definitely Ankh-Morpork from Discworld. I love Lipwig and Vimes to death, and I’d love to meet them (even if it does mean getting conned and thrown in jail).
2. If you could be best friends with an author, who would you choose and why?
Terry Pratchett. He was a wonderful person and a fantastic writer. He was brilliant.
9. Who would you cast as the main characters of a movie adaptation of your favorite book?
Hm…that’s a hard one. I honestly have no clue. Sorry. I do support Idris Alba as Vimes, though. And then probably some people from Les Miserables because Night Watch.
26. Do you use actual bookmarks to mark your place? Receipts? Sticky notes? Or do you, heaven forbid, dog ear the pages?
I used to use bookmarks when I was younger, but now I just try to memorize the page number where I left off. I have a knack for turning to that exact page. I only dog-ear to remember important or funny quotes.
30. Have you ever finished a book that rendered you so emotionally unstable that you couldn’t start another one for a few days?
This has only happened to me a few times. It happened for the first time when I was 10 and read Bridge to Tarabithia. And again that same year when I read Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. It didn’t happen again until this year, when I read The Shepherd’s Crown.
