So, I went to the post office today to pick up this aggressively Russian package. Those of you that follow the blog might be able to guess what's inside.
However, I was a bit surprised with the brought out this smaller package for me as well. I knew what it was, I just didn't think it had arrived yet. Lucky timing, I guess.
I decided to go ahead and start with the smaller one. What's inside you may ask?
Furbies of course! Not one, not two...
But four adorable Furbs, straight from Canada. These were sold as not working, and they do look to be in rough shape, but hopefully a nice bath and a push start will have them looking as good as new.
Next though, was the main attraction: my very first Pleo! It's hard to describe the nervous excitement I felt when opening this box. This guy has traveled a long way to get here, and I was hoping everything would be in order.
Thankfully though I had no reason to fear. Pleo and his accessories were very securely wrapped.
His head was even wrapped in an extra piece of bubble wrap, just to be safe
And here he is! My baby <3 I seriously can't believe how just amazing he is in person. I've been handling him super delicately, as I know how fragile these guys are, but I just can't stop picking him up and marveling at him.
And here's everything that came with him! It's not quite all his original accessories, but it's pretty close. Plus, the seller threw in two keychains, presumedly from where this Pleo used to live, which is super cool of them to do.
I plan on making follow up posts cataloging the results of Furby bath time as well as my first time running Pleo and beyond, so if that interests you, watch this space. I just wanted to share my unboxing experience and first impressions of Pleo, and the Furbies just happened to be in the right place at the right time to join in the fun.
