Hi! I really loved Tess (got both endings, yehaw), but I was wondering does anybody else, aside from Tess and Milly, have canon names? I think I once saw happyhyoo tag a post with Mr. Angel as Mors, but it could be my imagination. Anyways, thanks!

Oh yeah the other characters have canon names.  Here, I’ll make a little post summarizing them all. (spoilers below the cut)

Tess - The game’s protagonist, and the titular character.

Milly - Tess’ friend, first mentioned in the letter left for Tess at her house.

Sis - Tess’ sister who lives with her.  Canonically “Sis” is her name for now, but maybe later she’ll be given a proper name.  Tess calls her this when you talk to her.

Thomas - An acquaintance of Tess.  He’s probably the named character whose name you wouldn’t know unless I made this post.  He was named when I coded his entity-AI in the engine, so I don’t think there’s actually any traces of his name in the game besides the original source code.  His name is never mentioned in game.  Same with the second facepic.  Also the facepic on the right is a bonus facepic that didn’t make it into the game.

Mors - A man who leads you to The Hollow.  Mors is the other character who’s name isn’t mentioned in the game.  Unlike Thomas though, one could deduce his name from taking a peek at the game’s data folder, particularly at his facepic file.
