Sage knows she's supposed to retreat if the danger is overwhelming. She sees that it is. She tries to figure out how to escape but can't come up with anything and starts spiraling into stress and panic.

And Belle— bless her heart— despite the bitterness and the jealousy and every complicated feeling she has towards Sage, sees this and has compassion. 🥺 She shows Sage the parts she'd grabbed and even though she could eventually do make them into a weapon herself, she admits that Sage could do it faster, and she knows it would help Sage relax.

And sure enough—
