Rocket just is going to use Kurt to scramble up on a table and then eat some of his lunch.

Kurt isn’t even flinching. At most he is leaning to give Rocket a better angle to be climbing until he has gotten to his goal; the table. And as a continued offer he even pushed his plate of food a little closer to Rocket, offering him the option of sharing the scrambled eggs. Sharing is caring.

Rocket drags Thor's hand back to the side of his face for another scratch

at   first   ,   thor   thought   that   perhaps   the   rabbit   might   scold   or   bite   him   for   attempting   to   pet   him   like   one   of   midgard's   dog's.   never   did   he   mean   any   disrespect   but   he   couldn't   resist   the   temptation   to   pat   his   head   and   scritch   the   area   underneath   his   chin   .   he   half   flinches   out   of   sheer   instinct   when   rocket   moves   but   instead   of   enacting   some   form   of   revenge   ,   thor's   hand   is   grabbed   and   place   back   at   the   side   of   the   creature's   face   .   who   is   he   to   deny   the   rabbit   a   good   scratch   or   two   .   so   indeed   ,   he   does   comply   ensuring   to   pay   attention   to   the   space   between   his   ears   .

a  snort,    but  he  allows  it.    rocket  isn’t  that  heavy,    and  rich  can’t  imagine  it’s  exactly  COMFORTABLE   being  at  boot  -  level  with  everyone  in  knowhere.    the  phrase        ❛        long  -  tailed  cat  in  a  room  of  rocking  chairs        ❜        comes  to  mind,    and  rich  does  his  best  not  to  snort  and  arise  any  suspicion.

rocket  agreed  to  the  plan  to  split  up.    he’s  stuck  without  groot  until  they  can  regroup  with  the  rest  of  the  guardians        ⸻         the  least  rich  can  do  is  play  nova  centurion  taxi  service  for  a  little  while  so  he  doesn’t  get  stepped  on.    if  nothing  else,    for  the  sake  of  the  poor  bastard  who  might  have  the  misfortune  of  doing  the  stepping.

DID  HE  JUST  GET  YELL  AT  BY  A  RACCOON?  a  frown,  joined  by  an  amused  smile  spreads  on  the  soldier  as  he  looks  back  at  Rocket.  not  fair  to  reduce  them  to  just  being  a  raccoon,  clearly,  they  were  not,  still,  he  will  blame  it  on  his  human  brain  just  jumping  to  the  conclusion.  “I  feel  you  are  the  type  to  just  stab  instead  of  threatening  to  stab,  rocket.“  fair  enough,  most  of  his  friends  are  the  same  way.
