Something quite rare, donated by Big Apple Airchecks. Here is “Rock 107” during WRQX‘s rather short Album Rock format which ended shortly after this aircheck was recorded. ONE OF THE BEST NIGHTS OF MY LIFE

I saw Joan Jett and the Blackhearts live in a free concert, I had beer spilled on me, it was hot, it was crazy, and I had the best night of my life. Cherry Bomb, Bad Reputation, You Drive Me Wild, TMI, Any Weather, Hard To Grow Up, Love Is Pain, Reality Mentality, Crimson and Clover, Everyday People, French Song, I Love Rock & Roll, I Hate Myself For Loving You, Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah).... and I can't think of anymore. Probably 7 yards away from the stage. Then after the concert I realized a person I went to high school with, Stephen, was one of the opening bands. We said hi to each other. Wow. I haven't talked to him in about 9 or 10 years. I have work in 7 hours. I'm on auto pilot right now. My hearing is almost non-existent, my voice is coming in and out. I was in so many photos. Then I even sat on stage when the crew was breaking it down... photos to come. Then some older guys started to take pictures of me, told me I looked vicious, took photos with me.... my neighbor and I turned around and photobombed their photos.

Insane.
