tbh the main thing I had against Alita (other than like the uncanny valley) was the sheer impracticality of Dr. Ido’s rocket hammer thing

like, he probably could have had any weapon, and he chose a pole arm that could get stuck every third swing

(that being said, if it actually hits anyone, the average person won’t be alive beyond the first swing)
