Say hi to Rockman-chan Blues. There's not much of Rockman-chan translated into English on MangaDex, and what is there is... weird. Weird enough to make me kinda uncomfortable.

It's a parody comic, but so was Rockman-san, and... well, let's just say, they're nothing alike. The official English should be coming out soon under the title Little Mega Man, so I'll probably read it just to know it's full content, but I expect to get it from the library, I don't think I wanna own this one, y'all.

So far Blues himself seems fine, tho, from what I have read. Just... whistles... everything... he talks by whistling... and that's... really dumb, lmao.

here's how many shots of vodka it'd take me to kiss different versions of dr. wily. made purely for shits and giggles

for reference, 1 shot of vodka (~40ml / 1,5oz) equals to like ~340ml / 12oz of beer in terms of alcohol content. i don't drink anymore, and i don't even want to imagine it, so i'm basing this on my tolerance to alcohol in 2024, when i needed 2 beers to feel a bit tipsy.

mm1-mm7, mm9-mm10: two shots. he looks cute, y'know, like ugly cute, but intimidating. knowing what he did would make anyone feel unsafe, but i doubt he's the type to actively hurt people. to him, it's a way to garner attention. collateral damage.

mm8, mm&b, battle & chase: four. charming outfit, but i'd be terrified to even approach the guy. mostly because he's evil, but also because he's extremely pretty dressed up like that

mm11: zero. most approachable classic wily out there. i also find his in-game model extremely cute :)

young wily, mm11: six. this guy terrifies me, i'm not even sure why. so angry for nothing. i think he'd kick my ass if i tried. but, funnily enough, he'd be the only wily i would've been able to find any mutual interests with

super adventure rockman: nine. how long has it been since he showered. i have SOME standards and A TINY BIT of self-respect

ruby spears series: three. he's a bit annoying, but he gradually grew on me. imho he would've been able to win multiple times if it wasn't for some deus ex machina bullshit light pulled last minute. "oh right i completely forgot i conveniently have this invention i've never mentioned anywhere ever that conveniently counters dr. wily's invention. how convenient"

rockman ova: zero. you can't imagine how cute he is to me. yes he does evil things and almost destroys the planet but awwww look at him :)

archie comics, younger wily: one, for courage. I CAN FIX HIM TRUST

archie comics: five. even though he's my favourite version of dr. wily, even being around him is unnerving. his egocentric behaviour and superiority complex doesn't make me thrilled about the prospect. i'm interested, he's just way too threatening for me

archie comics, older wily: i feel like no answer to this question would be appropriate so i'm not answering it

hitoshi ariga's work: zero. is that even a question? he's genuinely attractive, and his personality is just as magnetic. like, there's a reason the only dr. wily x reader fic out there focuses on this version of him

shigeto ikehara's work: five. he's okay. i'm pretty neutral about him, so i'd have to drink some more to convince myself he's worth it

kōji izuki's work: seven. he creeps me tf out and i Don't Like Him. pretty annoying, a bit too cartoonish and relentlessly mocked by the narrative to the point i can't take him seriously. i'm probably being too harsh tbh, but he's definitely not my cup of tea

fully charged comics: six. i was sceptical at first because oh boy he's so fucking ugly, and the comics gave me a huge whiplash bc fc DOES NOT look like that at all. it was difficult to treat these characters seriously ngl. at the same time, i loved wily's motivation, it being reminiscent of sigma's ideas for the world, but with wily being the ruler of the superior life form. i LOVE IT when he's written this way, when he considers himself better than not only other humans, but also better than robots he builds. at the same time. i don't really care for this guy, so i'd have to convince myself

i can't talk on his bn counterpart because i'm not at all well versed in this series. what i've been told was quite intriguing though. i like when wily is written as truly evil; i'm just not courageous enough to commit to it. so comic-relief wily it is for me

Well, the release date for Mr. Mega Man (Rockman-san) and Little Mega Man (Rockman-chan) in English have been pushed back to January. 😔

It feels like a pretty good time to be a Mega Man fan

With how much support Capcom has been giving the series, with merch and tie-in material like Secret Level and the soon to be released comics and official manga translations, I think something big is around the corner for the Blue Bomber

Its just too early for them to reveal anything

I am gonna be cautiously optimistic for this series’ future
