it's so scary and nerving too think about how we're slowly killing our planet. more buildings are being built and forests being destroyed and to be honest, i never see really it stopping.. everything will slowly come to an end because we cannot live with a scarcity of pure nature. i think we're living at an OK time, i don't see the world dying just yet either. sorry i tried my best to word my thoughts concerning your textpost
hi amra i love u !
and yes, it’s really all for our personal gain - there’s no other core reason to build all these buildings (usually the big, tall, innovative ones that break records and whatnot) is to make that cold hard dough and it hasn’t stopped. the ones making the money can’t be broken. same goes to all the ones ignorant about how real climate change is and how fast it truly changes and chose to minimize it. we help pollute this earth’s land and oceans and i don’t mean to sound silly or anything, many don’t know that they cause harm. we’ve caused so much damage to this planet over the past decades,, it’s gone absolutely mad :(
i just wanted to show you some pages to read more (including statistics) right down below:
yes, they are primarily about climate change and global warming because they are in our control in comparison to, say, a much less likely threat, asteroids.
the likelihood of an asteroid hitting earth in our lifetimes is 1 in 10,000 according to this site.....not very likely. and perhaps this page will help ease your fears of earth collisions.
here’s an article written by nasa which explains climate change and global warming in further detail with images: ( x ) ( x ) / this article, also from nasa, is about melting ice specifically ( x )
here’s some things you can do to help prevent severe climate change
this article claims that every year since 1977 has been warmer than the 20th century average as well as further explaining what we have to do with it
what does pollution do to the environment?
but really,,,,i don’t quite think it’s earth’s time to go bye bye quite yet, but as shown above we do cause a lot of harm that could very well lead us to that inevitable end sooner.
