Miss Daisy (Are We In Love?) by Chad.Christison Originally inspired by The Beatles in the chorus, and then kind of branched off into it's own world. This song portrays the feeling of infatuation that was rushed into a relationship that probably never should have happened in the first place. Lyrics: Life is getting stale, I need another tale. Feels like I will always be destined to fail. Can something change my mind? I really need a sign. Who’s the girl that’s sitting there on the other side? That's Miss Daisy, she has crazy style, And you'll be wanting to chase down her smile. And it might take you awhile but when she walks down the aisle it's gonna be so worthwhile. I can hear my heart, Feels like it hit restart. I’m staring at the single greatest piece of art. She just looked me in the eye, And I think I’m gonna die. Everybody knows that I have to go try. Peppino di Capri – "Forse lo so" (Lesley Gore cover; 1964)

Here at SWTCH we bring you the deep cuts. Neopolitan/Italian singer and songwriter Peppino di Capri opened for The Beatles in 1965 for their concerts in Italy. (Notice how the word "Neopolitan" came before "Italian.")

The self-titled album Peppino di Capri e i Suoi Rockers (1964) seems to be influenced by The Beatles' sound. It's pretty evident in another song off the same album called "Perche'" which is an Italian version of the Beatlesy track "Because" by The Dave Clark Five.

Oakland rock band Warm Soda brings some killer 1960s-inspired melodies and chord changes in "Waiting for Your Call" off their upcoming LP Someone for You.
