Road Trip: Westward Day 2: A little Philly on the way to DC
This summer, the kids and I embarked on a 10,000-mile cross-country road trip from Washington to Maine and back. Along the way, we got a brief taste of America through landmarks and sights that represent our nation, for better or worse.

We hung out with the family for the morning and had yummy ice cream for lunch at Milk Sugar Love in Jersey City.

Rocky Steps, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
We left New Jersey and headed to Washington, DC. On the way, we stopped to see the famous “Rocky Steps” in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You can see the steps in several of the Rocky movies, as well as the Creed movies, and even in the comedy action hero movie Shazam.
Going full tourist on this trip...
