Rockz Solid, the name deriving from the nickname "Rocky" began rapping through her love of poetry and music. Using music as an outlet to escape her troubled teenage years it was soon evident to many people that she possessed a real talent. Since sixth grade she was engulfed with music in her school choir. As she entered high school, she went straight to advanced choir as the director realized she was good at note reading and singing. Although, it was in high school where life began to complicate and she stepped away from music for a few years. Returning to her true passion in 2009, Rockz has began to write, record, and perform. She is taking her love for music to an entirely different level... as she opened a recording studio and founded her record label "Brewed Fresh Records LLC." She has worked with local artists such as Trunk Bussa of DBFG, Annie Mae, Sinista of Young Urban Society, Hektik and Bad Newz of Street Team, and Pudj of Money Hungry Movement. "For the Love of Hiphop," was released April of 2011 with the video of her single "Pressure" featuring Pudj released a few months thereafter. In September of 2012, Rockz Solid and Annie Mae released their collaboration album "The Naked Truth." She has written songs for domestic abuse and community outreach groups as a way to give back to her community. It is clear that Rockz Solid is taking the Milwaukee music scene by storm with her lyrical word play and confident delivery.
