this makes naturals that immigrated from otherworldly settlements that much more valuable to the impostor community on mira, ESPECIALLY if they themselves are educated in the medical field. they are carriers of sacred information that could potentially lead to breakthroughs/be life-saving.
this is the reason why in early days of the mafia, naturals were highly respected individuals, especially with how uncommon they still are on mira.
things have shifted since then, mostly due to the goverment propaganda, that took the good old "divide and conquer" approach. so now there's a significant amount of hosts that fell for it and are trying to prove "they're one of the good impostors because they're not/are nothing like naturals". the "i am still a human unlike them" and "we deserve respect because we're victims of ACTUAL impostors too".
this completely ignores the sheer positive impact naturals and their knowledge had on the mira community and the fact many of these hosts wouldn't even be alive right now if it weren't for the early naturals on mira.
on the other end, we have naturals that see all hosts as oppressors due to those that share these beliefs. in the end, only mira benefits from this separation, which is exactly what they wanted from the beginning.
Do you think dentists exist in among us? Cause teeth as a concept do with there being other animals. But those would be handled by a veterinarian. And i doubt any bean would wanna be a dentist for solely impostors.

the short answer is yes, but they are rarely specialized only in impostor care and are working with insufficient data.
i think it depends on the universe? like i can speak for my aus, mostly being rodamrix aus, that impostors kinda formed their own trusted circles, communities and a culture, meaning that yeah, there are beans, impostor or not, specializing in impostor care, whether that be openly, or something they keep on down-low. either way, they are known among other impostors as safe people to go to. this applies to any medical profession, tho it is of note that impostor biology is highly under-researched, as any research that happened to be conducted by the crewmates (in my case, humans), was mostly with the goal of eradicating praestigiator transformis and/or preventing it. you need to remember that impostors are not seen as people and they are dehumanized in one of 2 ways: naturals are seen as monsters to be eradicated and hosts are seen as their unfortunate victims who lost their bodily autonomy the second they got infected and that are incapable on having their own complex feelings regarding their infection.
a lot of the knowledge that does exist on the matter is brought up by naturals and their biologists and doctors, which leaves a huge gap in medical research focusing on hosts specifically. there's also a distinct lack of communication between native impostor settlements across different planets and, let's say, mira, being on earth.
not to mention, these researchers are still underfunded, as they get their funding through indigo's mafia and occasional donations of rich individuals that have a hand in the game one way or the other. so they are not funded by the goverment and some of them would even lose their licenses if they get caught doing what they do.
now i can't really speak on the among us show, because we admittedly haven't seen much of the universe? but going off of hints that it is the same kind of capitalistic dystopia like roda multiverse is, the case is likely similar, if not worse, as that universe is much more unforgiving towards impostors.

so random but i think a lot about how disinterested and kind of annoyed pink is at the situation on the polus colony, just kind of standing back and not getting involved UNTIL purple gets absolutely fuckin decked by fortegreen who then tries to charge them while they’re still down. anyone weirded out by how it's considered cringe to care about things? like there is this invisible line between "enjoying something a normal amount" and "being way too invested" but no one tells you where exactly it is. everyone else seems to know tho and it's not like they're supressing themselves in order to not seem cringe, they just genuinely don't care about anything they engage in. they see it as passtime and then they move on, and god forbid you don't do the same.
