I am so stoked. I’ve wanted this for years and I’ve missed it a few times, but today it finally clicked. 7th row callup, didn’t expect much, but every lap a little closer. @atrainadt and @glennmccoin pushing me to not give up even though the leaders seemed too far off. Then on the last lap a big final dig got me to 3rd with less than two minutes left. Then a pass made 2nd. Then Andy was the only one left. I had so much respect for his race that I wanted him to win, but I also didn’t want to sit up. That was hard. A small bobble on the the final turn left and open line for me to grab so I took it and led out the sprint. I can’t believe it all worked out. Winning is fun, but now that I race on a bike I created it has different meaning. I want to prove that our bike is good too. Today it was good.
