Grand Canyon, March 2026.

Mark left me in the dust heading up South Kaibab in a furious attempt to beat the heat. You can see his steps in the first frame. I floated in the middle all morning worried the young guns behind would catch and drop me at some point. A solo Man v. Gravity endeavor under a full pack that ended up in a personal record sub 3:30:00 river to rim effort.
