Rodeos are cruel and I feel like that needs to be pointed out more 
Most events inherently involve stressing an animal out (bull/bronco riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, etc.) and have a high risk of killing, injuring, or at least causing physical pain to the animal
And even the ones that could be done more ethically (like barrel racing) aren’t done ethically 90% of the time
Not to mention the cruelty is exacerbated by people intentionally trying to harm the animals by beating, kicking, shocking, and stabbing them. Which happens more than you would think.
It sucks to see rodeos be glorified by so many people without anyone acknowledging how inhumane they are and I’m saying this as someone who grew up around that kind of culture
