Did you know that there’s a dimensional bar in The Bugverse?

NOW YOU DO!!!!

There exists a bar called The Dead End!! It exists in its own pocket dimension where all entrances of the bar lead to the same, one place!!

Notable Enterances :

Two in Crestwood City (Sort of!! There is one in the country outside of Crestwood City, and then there’s one in the actual city)

One in The Infernal!!

Two in Hazlebrooke (one for each half!!)!

And yes,,, Rodger (The Bar’s Owner) does, in fact, pay to build the bars. There used to only be two (the Crestwood city ones), but Samuel has helped pay to build more!! Rodger chooses the location tho

WATERMELON - What is their greatest reason to get out of bed?

YESSS Luv this one tbh!!! Not including Gods tbh. No offense to them obvs

Emoc : His friends. He doesn’t have a real family. Emoc honestly doesn’t have anyone outside of his tight knit group of friends, and he cherishes them. Even on his hardest days, he will get up for them.

Samuel : Similarly to Emoc, his friends. But also his mother. However, very specifically: he gets up immediately for his childhood best friend, Noah. They’ve known each other since they were babies (Samuel’s Mom and Noah’s Mom are basically like QPP without the label- so they’ve been in each other’s life practically the whole time). Aside from his mother, Noah is the person Samuel cares most about.

Rodger : His son, Kaz, and his younger friends he has practically adopted. He loves his son so dearly, and Id say Samuel, Charles, and Emoc specifically are like adopted children to him. So he gets up for them too. He loves his kids.

Charles : his QPP Quinn. Getting out of bed can be rough for Charles- with nightmares that haunt him when he sleeps, and constantly being reminded of what he endured, he sometimes wants to just stay in bed for extended periods of time. HOWEVER, Quinn always coaxes him out. Always. He loves Quinn too much to not get up.

Igor : His close friends. So, like, Samuel, Lincoln, Melissa (JUMPSCARE- they know each other), and Damien. Lincoln and Damien r not talked about yet, but they both live with Igor. He gets up for them. I mean, Especially Lincoln. Lincoln gets him up very quickly.

Aaaannnnddd thats all Im going to do for now. Bc a lot of them boil down to basically their closest relatives or friends.

break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?

Samuel : NON-CANONICALLY, The loss of his Chosen Brother Noah and his moms. Samuel is already a functioning alcoholic as is, so if he loses any of the three, let alone ALL of them (which is how it happens in canon- think “death comes in threes” type thing), he is TOAST. Like he is going down the spiral. But in canon that doesn’t happen. I would say Rodger has definitely seen him at his worst tho.

Emoc : The loss of Samuel might just kill him LMAO. He’s a wee bit codependent on Samuel, and while Im confident he could function without Samuel, it would be devastating. He would probably stop grinning, act somewhat normal (maybe even depressed), sluggish and sad. He’d probably drink more too.

Charles : He would probably lose his mind if Rodger got hurt or died in some capacity. Rodger means a hell of a lot to Charles- most importantly, he’s a huge support and father figure. Chatles would probably react to Rodger’s death like if someone lost their parent they had a good relationship with. There’s a Rodger-shaped hole in his heart, and if he lost him, it would be like losing a part of himself, in a way. Iykwim.

Rodger : Any of his friends dying, but more importantly, his son. If Kaz died, he would be heartbroken. You hear of people dying of a broken heart- well Im p sure that would happen if his son died. He loves Kaz so much- he’s done so much to protect and take care of the literal angel. Kaz was born (more like hatched) when Rodger was, like, 17, and Kaz was a big factor in him escaping the life he had atp. Kaz saved his life in a lot of ways. I think close second would be Samuel, since he sees him much like a son, AND Samuel is the same age as Kaz (so it really lines up in his brain). Im sure you’d be able to tell if someone he loved died- I dont think he’d relapse or anything, but he would probably be super depressed. Like no motivation, no hope, nothing.

guilt?

guilt: What is your OC guilty about? How do they handle their guilt? Do they try to avoid guilt, or do they accept it?

Emoc : He feels extremely guilty about how he behaved in his relationship w/ Alec. He’s done his best to accept the guilt for the (mutual) toxic relationship, but from time to time he gets random reminders of what he did. He kind of tries to avoid it until he’s able to be in a place where he’s alone.

Samuel : His first kill gives him so much shame and guilt that it might as well have been fundamental to his formation as a person. It happened when he was??? Like 14yo and it was entirely on accident. If he thinks about it, he gets violently ill to his stomach, so he avoids the guilt as much as he can. He does. Not handle his guilt well. Samuel drinks his guilt away.

Charles : What happened with his family gives him guilt in the same way as Samuel. He gets violently ill, but he will sob over it. Im sure he would be in the fetal position in bed, face in his hands. Charles has tried to accept and move on from what happened, but untreated PTSD is a bitch. Flashbacks happen often, even when he’s j chilling at work. Big factor in why his addictions are the main way he handles his guilt.

Rodger : YIPPEE! The (mostly) healthy one!! He has gone to therapy- that’s right! Rodger went to therapy for years and learned how to healthily cope with guilt. He doesn’t struggle much with guilt from his past, though he does still suffer from flashbacks and nightmares. His philosophy with flashbacks is that he just rides them out in order to process them, but nightmares? He avoids those. When he wakes up from a nightmare, he has to work through his guilt again because of how vivid his dreams are. He doesn’t necessarily AVOID guilt, but he does avoid nightmares. That’s it tho.

Jakk : Lack of Remorse McGee over here. I don’t think he’s ever felt guilt- Even when he got into the huge ass, holy book worthy fight with Flip. Sometimes with Flip, he will give gifts when he knows he’s messed up, but thats not too often.

Flip : Selective Remorse- He only feels guilty when he hurts a few people, particularly Melissa and Mr. Happy, but even then there’s nothing that like.. haunts him iykwim? He processes his guilt pretty well me thinks

20) how do they view death

Emoc : Death is beautiful and a necessary evil. His dad is literally death, so it would be a bit strange if he didn’t find some sort of positivity in Death. He has a strange fascination in death too, but. Again. Kind of a given.

Samuel : It is just something that happens, sooner or later. Everyone dies, premature or not. He kind of doesn’t really have a strong view on death iykwim?

Charles : Death is natural, and the life cycle will always go on. He’s a farmer so death kind of,,, sticks in the air iykwim? His family specifically used to raise beef cows, so he was very familiar with death from a young age. Its natural- sure it sucks sometimes, but it happens.

Rodger : He has complicated feelings on death. There are some people who deserve to die, and there are some who did not deserve to die. He’s dealt with death as a topic from early childhood, so he understands it happens and is necessary, but it really depends on WHO is dying, iykwim? Idk,,,

13. What does it take to gain their trust?

Emoc : I’m honestly pretty sure he puts blind trust into people who actually talk to him. Even Emoc considers himself an “acquired taste”, so most people steer clear of him. So if someone actually wants to talk to them? He’d probably trust them until proven wrong via something he actually perceives as a betrayal or Samuel/Friends tell him that whatever is going on isn’t right.

Samuel : LMAO…. good luck getting his trust if you’re anyone but his friends or friends of friends (and even then it’s pretty limited). Somehow proving yourself to be a real friend to him (usually via means of doing something serious for him) might sway him, and then from there it’s easy, but honestly??? He’s picky with who he trusts. Some of his closest friends don’t know details about him that are “important”.

Charles : When you actually upgrade to being his friend (in his mind) he trusts you at a certain baseline. It takes a lot of persistence to befriend him in general, so if someone does have that persistence (which most people really do not have bc Im telling you, it can be months before he even utters a word to you AT WORK), he’s more inclined to trust them.

Rodger : I think everyone has a baseline of trust with him. Sure he wont divulge details about his past, but he’s open about his current life. He has a son, a huge group of friends that he loves. Nothing bad happens in his life either, so there’s really not much to hide iykwim?

Jakk : 🧍 Okay, so I just love including him even tho he is really adverse to almost any relationship (familial, platonic, romantic- the exception is sexual relationships). He DOES gain trust for certain people (best example is Emoc tbh). It just takes… being super fucking annoying to him LMAO. For example ; Emoc was just. Super annoying. Constantly following him, taking any opportunity to talk or do something, yapping his ear off. But after a while, he kind of got used to Emoc, and now he doesn’t mind him and even talks to him on occasion.

Flip : He’s a lot like Jakk in the fact he doesn’t trust 98% of people, but I think a big factor of getting him to trust you and open up is not being scared of him. Whether it’s in a “he will smite me bc hes a god” way or afraid of his rage in general (which comes with his domain). A good majority of my ocs, including some gods, are afraid of Flip (and Jakk) so if someone doesn’t have that fear, he really appreciates that. It’s part of the reason he and Melissa got along well- She just did not gaf that he was a god.
