I'm reminded of the few times we've talked about roditarn and tbh in a mutual truce au where Optimus and Megatron are off doing bigshot peace stuff you can leave both Rodimus and Tarn leaving very out of place and abandoned in fascinating ways as interm prime suddenly replaced as Optimus is back again and newly decommissioned death squad leader rejected by his leadergod respectively, and if you squint things juuust right it could be quite terrible for everyone involved even everyone else too

I had a question about your Roditarn fic, “Made and Used and Wasted,” if you don’t mind. it’s purely an aesthetic one.

when tarn first encounters rodimus on the lost light, he describes him as: “resplendent and burning, alive and in their colors”

By their colors, does he mean when Rodimus was in his blue and purple phase? Sorry, I haven’t read all of mtmte yet and I wasn’t sure what he meant by that.

I never mind a question about my fics. At that point in time Rodimus is still red, orange, and yellow. Rodimus doesn't repaint himself until after the end of MTMTE. He's purple and blue in Lost Light comic run. Blueberry Rodimus could be coordinated with Tarn though which is a fun thought.

"Their colors" refer to how Rodimus copied Damus's colors when he first woke up since I have a theory that fresh protoforms can be easily influenced in some forms of presentation based off Whirl's Scraplet Baby's imitation of one.
