While OCEARCH continues to lie in order to steal credit and get headlines, real researchers are quietly continuing to collect data. The Fox Research Foundation uses non-invasive PAT tags that are applied to the shark as it swims by. A couple of years ago they tagged a 20 foot female named Dolly who revealed deep dives off South Australia's shelf, adding to the extensive movement data they already have for these sharks.
