A Sofia x Rafe smut filled with drama, accusations and plenty of smuuuuuut.
Inspired by that scene in Hellraiser (2022) where Trevor opens the door to Riley letting her in to his apartment.
Sometimes i get bad vibes from people who are HARDCORE sofia haters. I understand not being a fan of the way her character was written and her whole relationship with Rafe, but guys she’s just a girl. What did she do to get all that hate?
rofia or riara better not be end game literally they both make zero sense imo
self promotion of my rafe cameron-centric fic i just posted! if youre a fan of rafebarry, riara, or rofia then you will enjoy i promise.

I’ll never get used to this
Prompt:
(Okay so I used to post on here on a different account for Eddie Munson lol. But rafe and Sofia are my new addiction. This isn’t the best story and I can definitely do better but I haven’t written in MONTHS. Promise I can do way better. I accept requests. Always!)
Dating a pogue was not something Rafe Cameron thought he would ever do. Growing up the way he did, surrounded by riches and luxuries, he was taught to see anyone with less money, below him. He had spent years with that mindset, creating bad blood between him and the pogues for as long as he remembered.
It didn’t help that his dad was constantly implementing shit into his head. His mind had always been fucked up, mangled like jigsaw puzzle. He wasn’t exactly the most mentally stable person considering the abuse he’d endured from his dad, losing his mom at a young age, and the addiction to drugs.
It was after his dad died that he realized he was much more than he had been taught. Losing his dad broke him but it also healed a part of him that he never knew he had, never knew he needed.
He had met Sofia while his dad was still alive. She was supposed to be a fling, a way to pass time and to gain pleasure without strings. He had chosen her at a party he had hosted where they connected, the sexual tension almost immediate. He knew her being a pogue would piss his dad off which is exactly why she ended up in his bed…and maybe also because she was gorgeous and different from the other pogues.
After a few times of having her, he started to enjoy her company. He found it harder to say goodbye to her when she had to go to work or home. He would sometimes hang out at her job for hours while she served old rich men drinks. She was a sweet girl. He knew that and maybe a part of him was taking advantage of it but he really did like her and didn’t want any other girl.
After his dad died, she was the only person who kept him sane. She was there for him in every waking moment. Whether he was crying or getting angry, she would be right there comforting him. If he didn’t want to talk, she would just hold him, her head resting on his shoulder. Months went by and he knew he had fallen for her.

Asking her to be exclusive with him was one of the most awkward experiences he’d ever had. He had never been good at the whole relationship thing seeing as he had never been in one. He always stuck with hookups and one night stands so he felt like an ass when he realized he should have gotten her flowers or something. But when she had said yes without hesitation, he felt relief wash over him. She was his and he had never been happier. It was weird. That he couldn’t deny. But he didn’t want anyone else. Pogue be damned.
Now here she was, getting ready for work in his room after he had just had his way with her. He lay partially naked in his bed, boxers being the only thing covering his skin. He sat up against the headboard, his arm behind his head as he watched her pull her dress pants up. “Why do you even work there? You could do so much better.” He asked, his voice curious.
She pulled over her white dress shirt, buttoning it up before pulling her hair into a messy bun. She turned to face him with a small smile. “Well…not everyone has millions of dollars.” She said teasingly as she approached the bed.
He rolled his eyes and sat up fully, reaching out to grab her waist. “You know what I mean. You serve drinks all day to men who don’t respect you. That isn’t a life.” Sofia stood between his legs and pushed her lips to the side. She knew what he meant and she knew he was right. But what else was she meant to do? She shrugged and placed her hands on his legs as she looked into his eyes. “I don’t know. There isn’t much I can do Rafe. I have to make money somehow and as much as it sucks, they tip well.”
He frowned at that, his eyebrows scrunching in disapproval. “I’m sure you do when they’re grabbing your fucking ass every other day.” He said sternly, slight anger written across his face. Sofia let out a sigh and shook her head as she stepped back. “I have to go. I don’t want to argue okay?“
He felt a string of guilt in his chest at her sudden distance. “Hey hey. I’m sorry.” He said as she stood up and grabbed her wrist, bringing her closer to him. He cupped her face with both hands, looking down at her with adoration. “I didn’t mean it like that. I know you work hard. That was a dick thing to say. I just worry about you, you know that.” He said softly, brushing his finger across her cheek. He never thought he could be this gentle with anyone but the thought of hurting her in any way was unimaginable.
She looked up at him, understanding in her eyes. “I know and I really appreciate it but it’s just what I have to do.” Rafe really didn’t like that answer. He shook his head and bent down a little to be more eye level with her. “No you don’t. You could quit your job. I can take care of you.” His eyes were intense, serious.
She looked at him in surprise or maybe like he was crazy. “Rafe I can’t just quit my job. What are you even-“ she started to say but he cut her off. “You don’t have to do anything right now. Just think about it okay? Please.”
She nodded in response and watched as he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers. She closed her eyes and returned the kiss, her arms wrapping around his neck. He wrapped his arms around her back and lifted her up slightly, keeping his lips pressed against hers for a moment before setting her back down. “Have a good day at work okay? Call me if you need me to beat someone up.”
She laughed softly at that, her nose crinkling. “I will, I promise. I really have to go.” She said with a sense of urgency as she pressed a quick kiss to his lips and left.
After he heard the front door close, he sat down on the edge of his bed running a hand over his buzzed hair. He had a dumbass smile across his face as he thought about her and the possibility of her staying with him. Of never seeing her struggle again. He knew if his dad was still here, he would be lectured and reprimanded for even offering such a notion. But maybe a part of him wanted to break the cycle once and for all.
Fuck. His sister was practically pogue at this point, off with John B of all people. He still wanted to mend things with her but he hated those pogues. Couldn’t stand to be around them. Sofia was the only one he would ever tolerate.

It was around 10 pm when he heard his phone buzzing while he was getting his daily workout in. He was getting his weights in using the barbell, sweat dripping from his forehead and soft grunts escaping his lips. He let the bar slam to the ground, the sound echoing across his in-home gym as he made his way to the bench in the corner. He picked up his phone to see Sofia calling, the picture of her beautiful face flashing across the screen.
He smirked and pressed the accept call button, bringing the phone to his ear. “Hey beautiful.” He said into the phone as he sat down on the bench. Her voice came through a couple seconds later. “Hey Rafe. I’m running a little behind at work so I might be late but I’ll text you when I’m on the way.” He felt a little annoyance knowing he had to wait a little bit longer but he didn’t say anything knowing this was her job.
“Okay. That’s fine, baby. Just hurry. Be safe.” He said, still trying to catch his breath from the weights. “I will I promise. See you soon.” She said sweetly and hung up.

He was sitting outside on the balcony outside of his room when he saw her car pull up. He grinned as he watched her step out of the car seeing that she didn’t even bother to go home and change. “That eager huh?” He called out over the balcony as she swung her bag over her shoulder and shut the car door.
Her head snapped up at his voice and his heart skipped a beat seeing her face light up, a smile gracing her lips. “Well I figured I would just wear your clothes.” She said teasingly. “Hold on I’m coming.” She walked inside and shut the door and he listened as her footsteps hurried up the steps.
He stood up and made his way back into his room just as she walked in, meeting her halfway. He smirked as he approached her, his hands immediately snaking around his waist. “Hey. How was work?” He asked, his lips brushing across her hair. She wrapped her arms around his his neck, slightly stepping on her tiptoes. “It wasn’t too bad. No ass grabs and I got 150 in tips so can’t complain too much.”
He rolld his eyes and pulled back to look at her. “If you quit, you’d get way more than that and you wouldn’t have to do anything.” She bit down on her lip, a hesitant look crossing her face. “Rafe-“
A frustrated scoff fell from his lips, his hands dropping from her waist. “Why are you being so stubborn? I’m giving you a chance to live an easy life with nothing but luxuries and comfort. What is so difficult about that?” She didn’t like the tone he was taking with her, the tone that made her feel stupid. She crossed her arms and swallowed hard. “Because- because if I quit my job….i- if we ever broke up…what would I do? I’d be screwed.” Her reasoning was valid and it made sense but he still couldn’t help the anger and confusion that flooded his brain. The kind he was still struggling with.
“We aren’t going to break up and even if we did, do you really think I would just leave you fucked like that? I’m not some monster Sofia.” His face hardened, jaw clenched. Her eyes widened slightly and she scrunched her eyebrows. “Rafe I wasn’t trying to suggest you were. I’m not- I’m not saying- shit.” She whispered and ran hand through her hair trying to explain what she meant.
He felt the same string of guilt that ran through him earlier and knew he reacted instinctively instead of taking a second to think. “Fuck. Sofia I’m- I’m sorry. That was uncalled for. I know you don’t think that. Shit.” He sighed heavily and ran a hand over his buzzed head. “You have every right to be concerned about that. I just-I meant…if we break up-if…I will not do that to you. I would give you enough money to survive for a while or I would help you find something. You have my word. I just want to take care of you.” His expression softened as he stepped closer once again.
She listened to him speak knowing he was truly trying to change. The way he immediately caught onto how he was acting made her heart ache. She couldn’t help but think about letting him do this for her. A life with no more bills, getting to do what she wanted, sleeping in. No more disrespectful old men and being overworked. She chewed on her lip, her eyes boring into his. “Okay.” She said softly, the agreement evident in her voice.
His eyebrows raised in surprise not expecting it to be that easy. “What?” He asked, wanting to be sure he heard her properly. She chuckled, her beautiful smile spreading across her cheeks again. “Yes I’ll quit. I’ll let you do this.” He grinned and cupped her cheeks, pulling her into a desperate kiss. She grabbed his shoulders and kissed him deeply, one hand moving over his head.
He had his way with her again that night. The room filed with skin on skin, soft moans and grunts. He would never get over the way he felt when he was with her.

Sofia decided to finish out the rest of the week not wanting to leave on a bad note. She was raised to be respectful especially at a workplace. She turned in her keys and work clothes on her last day. It was weird for her. To quit her job knowing her boyfriend would be paying for everything she needed or wanted. She felt guilty but he assured her that he had more than enough money and that this was his decision.
When she arrived back at his estate, she filed through her keys and found the correct one to open the door. Once it clicked, she opened the door and walked inside, shutting it softly after kicking her shoes off and placing them neatly on the side. “Rafe?” She called out softly as she maneuvered her way around his house. She heard his deep voice from up the stairs saying, “up here baby.”
She took the steps one at a time and walked into his office where she figured he would be working on whatever it was he worked on. She never did really question it. “Hey. Today was my last day. I am officially a jobless woman.” She said, a hint of teasing in her tone. He looked up from his laptop, a smirk immediately forming on his face at her presence. He shut the laptop and stood up as he crossed the room to greet her. Before he said a single word, he bent down and kissed her lips, his hands roaming up and down her arms.
She met his lips and allowed her hands to roam across his back. When he pulled back, he continued to bend down to her eye level, his eyes endearing. “You won’t ever have to worry about a single thing ever again.” The way he said it made her heart flutter and she knew he was serious, truthful. She placed a hand on his cheek and bored her eyes into his. “Thank you. Just at least let me clean up around here and cook occasionally.”
He rolled his eyes and stood up straight again, keeping contact with her. “I mean I have a cleaner but if that’s what you want then it’s done.” She gave him a look at his eye roll knowing he didn’t understand why she wasn’t content with just living her life with no responsibilities or care in the world. “I wasn’t raised to just not help out. I won’t ever feel comfortable just sitting around and having stuff handed to me. Please understand.” She replied, trying to make him see where she was coming from.
His eyes softened and he brushed a piece of hair away from her face, his fingers lingering on her cheek. “Okay. Okay I’ll do what I can to make this comfortable for you. I love you and I want you to be happy.” Her smile returned to her face as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “Thank you. I love you too.”
He held her in his arms for a little while as they stood in the middle of his office. He suddenly smirked again and mumbled in her ear, “I could definitely get used to this. Having you here all the time and getting to spoil you.” She pulled back to look at him, biting on her bottom lip. “I’ll never get used to his.” She whispered and she meant it. She would never grow accustom to this life. It would never make sense to her but she was willing to allow the swirlingly thoughts of how she deserved this to fester if it meant she got to be with him.
