the casting for Roger is INSANE. no wonder that man pulled Silvers Rayleigh AND Portgas D. Rouge. If he looked at me with those doe eyes and a bright smile I would be gone for him too
Roger and his blonde wives
One piece AU where Rayleigh comes out as transfem during the Roger Pirates Era.
Shakky is a Kuja, she's bi, she met trans woman before. She confuses everyone at her bar by switching husband for wife when talking about her partner and let people thinks she divorced for fun.
Shanks and Buggy have a lot of questions because they're curious kids. They made some dumb assumptions and mistakes(No Buggy, i'm not interested in make-up because i'm a woman now. Shanks, you don't have to act more protective, i'm still the fucking Dark King) but they learn quickly.
The dumbass on the crew basically learnt from the children mistakes and questions. Thanks fuck for the kids, they can get away with the dumbest questions (All the questions are well-meaning but Leigh never had much patience for dumb questions).
The Roger Pirates visit Okama Island to get Leigh her hormons and sex change. They're very supportive, shooting down everyone who tries to question Leigh's transition and a bit overwhelming in their attempts to be supportive but she loved them this way. They read Ivankov's pamphlet on queer identity or read them to the crewmates who can't read.
Gaban is the chillest about it. Leigh is a woman, good for her. They still hang out like before. He's great when everyone else is a bit too much.
The first time Leigh chews Roger out after coming out, he realises she's a smarter than him woman who can and will kick his ass if he's being dumb and very much his type. He rethinks every interactions he had with her over the years in approximmately 20 seconds and propose on the spot the moment she stops screaming.
He's then reminded by a very irrate Leigh than she has a wife. Roger immediatelly calls Shakky in front of her and basically asks for permission to woo her wife and learns she thought they were together for years. Shakky doesn't mind as long as he isn't flirting with her too (the kidnapping attempts and his brutal rejections of her beloved sister Gloriosa when he could've let her down nicely aren't forgiven).
Permission obtained, Roger proposes again. She tells him to buy her dinner first. After multiple dinners, thoughful gifts and proving he's serious and changed(oopsie, looks like trying to kidnap another woman multiples times doesn't exactly inspires trust in your behaviour in a romantic relationship), they get married.
Meanwhile, Shakky seduces Rouge for herself and later, everyone get entangled in a nice polycule.
Now sharing a bed with Roger, Leigh notices earlier he's getting sick and drags him to a doctor before things get too bad. Ace is born in a very loving family.
The King and his first mate

one piece 1116 spoilers
When Vegapunk mentioned the Pirate King's crew knowing the truth the whole time, I hoped we would see Rayleigh,
and we did!!
but didn't expect him to be such a mess - even Shakky saying he usually doesn't get this wasted, it's interesting. When we saw him every time before, he was very put together and calm.
It must be painful and nostalgic to hear Vegapunk talking about the past, their crew and Roger, and then Rayleogh saying (similary to what Roger said at his execution which Rayleigh said he couldn't stand to attend), that the new generation has to seek out the adventures and the truth for themselves - repeating his words.
argh!!! the pain!

"Those who knew the truth just laughed" WHAT DOES IT MEAN???
Ive always wondered what conversation between Rayleigh and Ace would be like, tbh.
