That someone was Mica Paris who was just there for the concert. But he apparently knew who she was because he asked her after a few songs "don't you sing?" Generally I shut the doors to keep the music from invading the lives of the other members of the household. But my wife was reading on the couch right over the threshold so I chose something I thought she’d enjoy. She had my son shut the door anyway. So I got to enjoy all by myself the baritone sax on “Girls and Boys” and the awesome segues and the goofy almost Queen-ish “Do U Lie?” and the “Kiss”/“Anotherloverholenyohead” one-two punch. I don’t know if you’d say that one *enjoys* “Sometimes It Snows in April” but it sure is pretty and a sad way to cool down. The sun porch was very hot so as I sweat I thought a theoretical passerby might assume it was because of the music, but really it was just western exposure to direct afternoon sunlight plus humidity.
