Some facts about rogue!Tav for anyone who might be interested:
They were based on my D&D character from college, a wood Elf Assassin Rogue who had an undisclosed tragic past (cliche on purpose but turned out to be totally worth it), tired-of-your-shit mentality, Chaotic Neutral, played from levels 10 to 18)
This character's main traits on their character sheet are pretty true to how I played them in BG3:
Personality: Stay calm, get shit done.
Ideal: Fuck authority.
Bond: I've lost people before. No more mistakes.
Flaw: I ignore plans.
Their best stats are Dex, Cha and Wis, lowest stats were Str and Int, neutral Con
They duel-wield daggers and are an expert in poisons
As an assassin, they know how to infiltrate and get along with anyone (the high Cha helps too), so they avoid as much direct conflict as possible
They had matching daggers with Astarion for a while (ty old Gauntlet of Shar bug)
The two bonded over their chaotic gremlin-like approach to conflict, though Astarion didn't like how the group ended up helping people sometimes
They don't like being told what to do though, so if people demand help, they're less likely to help (unless money is involved)
They really will steal anything and everything that isn't bolted down-- especially if it's in the house of someone important
They are proficient at pickpocketing and lockpicking, but were incredibly impressed by Astarion's skills-- eventually he became the designated sleight-of-hand person
The two still have a healthy rivalry, but ultimately work to balance each other out
