…probably something involving Snape. My first thoughtwas Hermione/Snape because that’s the one of the more popular ones that has no basis whatsoever (like, I can get behind a lot of ships if someone puts alot of work into developing them, or presents them as more destructive than anything else, and even Harry/Snape has the whole backstorybetween Snape and his parents and Snape’s job to make sure Harry doesn’t diegoing on – which makes the ship even worse for me, but at least that’s some connection beyond Snape being anasshole to a teenage girl), but this seems to have died out over the years.
No, wait, the one that makes me angry every single time? Sirius Black/MarleneMcKinnon. Where did this even come from? Just. When did everyone decide thatshe’s in the same year as the marauders, basically a female version of Sirius,and that they’re made for each other??? (Why does everyone have to be straight,I’ve already got seven HP books for that, okay.)
(I’m so pisssed off about this ship that I, out ofspite, headcanon Marlene to be an elderly kick-ass lesbian, and she and her wifehave sort of adopted both Sirius and Lily, who now meet them for tea and lifeadvice about once a week.)

It’s kind of hard to pinpoint because once I startedhaving ships there were suddenly a lot ofships. The first ones I remember looking for fanart and fanfic for wereprobably my early Digimon (Yamato/Sora and Daisuke/Ken) and DBZ (Trunks/Gotenand Goku/Vegeta, I KNOW I KNOW BUT SLASH WAS NEW AND EXCITING) ships. (AndRemus/Sirius, but since “fandom” was mostly a couple of German anime websites for me back then, it took a bit longer until I discovered a lot of content for themand they became my ship.)
My first proper, all-consuming ship, includingeverything from late-night discussions about every interaction they ever hadand every detail about their relationship, ship wars, creating both fanart andfanfic and the one I was really obsessing over? Kai/Rei from fucking Beyblade,of all things.
10) what isthe most overrated ship, in your opinion?
Stiles/Derek from Teen Wolf, oh MY GOD. The thing is,I could have shipped it. I even did ship it a bit for a while, but the wayfandom put it about everything else, made every meaningful interaction ofeither of them with any other characters (or of any other characters that hadNOTHING TO DO WITH THEM) about them instead. People made it out to be the bestrelationship ever™ and it just… isn’t. I get where it comes from, it haspotential and all that, but there are much more interesting (even goddamncanon) relationships on the very same show, and just, GIVE ME A BREAK. (It’sbeen years. I’m still bitter. I’ll always be bitter.)
15) what’syour favorite headcanon of Daiken?
Daisuke always ends up giving Ken his leather jacket. No,seriously, that boy’s been wearing it on more summer nights than Daisukehimself. (Ken gets cold very easily, so he actually brings a jacket even onwarm summer days when he knows it’s probably going to get colder later on, butsomehow Daisuke always offers him his before he can put his own jacket on. Thefirst time it happens he tries to refuse, but Daisuke is faster and just putsit around his shoulders and even that’s already so much more comfortable andmakes him feel better, feel something,somehow, so the rest is history.)
