The day had been exhausting, long, sometimes Daniel just wanted to have a break from it all, but that wasn't working out so well. The last time he had taken off some days, he'd returned into a chaotic mess - a lesson he'd learned that trusting someone else with his business wasn't the wisest choice. Or maybe he just hadn't found the right person for it yet. Of course one option would be to get some early sleep, but that wouldn't work for him - he needed to relax, get his mind off so many things. Usually after such a day, he just changed his clothes, going out for a run through a nearby park until his mind would be at peace once more. Or he'd be totally tired, one way or the other would be perfect.
After a couple of minutes running through the park, his sore shoulders from sitting all day long, were finally starting to relax a bit, he was taking deep breaths. In. Out. No dirty air from the large streets, surrounded by trees, the nature was his favourite place, especially without any kind of ugly scents he couldn't block out entirely when he was out there.
Until Daniel nearly stumbled over his own feet as a complete different scent hit him - thin, only a tiny bit of it, then, as he continued on the path he was on, it grew. What was that? It was spicy, yet sweet, no, it wasn’t sweet, it wasn't anything he'd ever smelled. He didn't even care where it came from, he needed to know what it was. It was a mixture between his instinct and curiousity that was leading him further down the park, speeding up a bit so he wouldn't loose it.
