Sparking Zero has customization within clothing sets having different moves and items are back. The downside that the game is series accurate, so OP characters will be OP in game.
Nice! Hopefully we can have some cool Krillin outfits and different moves! I want his outfit from Battle of Gods & his taco shirt. Or Krillin in his gi with his DBS hair. Maybe one of them will give the Solar Flare×100 and other moves. I definitely want Krillin's DBS: Super Hero outfit. I want other outfits for other characters too like Videl's BoG outfit, Roshi's Jacki Chun outfit, Piccolo's RR soldier outfit, ect ect.
Regarding OP characters being OP... shoot, that's an upside for me! Imagine schooling someone as an Earthling & they throw a fit. Picking a less powerful character and winning will be a flex.
I used to do all kinds of strategies and combines as Krillin against my brother who played as Goku. Then after a few hits, our health was even lol. He's a better gamer than me, but I was just a better strategist. But those were our mains. So if he picked Vegeta or Piccolo or Gohan (anyone that isn't Goku or one of his fusions) & I picked Krillin, I'd win with strategy. But if I picked a different character, there is a higher chance of me losing against my big bro lol.
So imagining fighting against a god level character from DBS as an Earthling. Extremely challenging. But I'm the kind of guy who doesn't mind losing over and over so I can get better. If I can hang with a god character as a mere human, doesn't matter if I lose. I just proved I could beat them if we were at the same power level. And if I do beat them, no need to brag.
Remember the quotes I posted on the earthling positive chat? What did you think of the characters saying that the Earthlings of T.P can be very strong to the point that they actually having a faint sense of God Ki, that's actually said by Beerus, Whis and Zamasu, if your character is a earthling. Frieza thinking about destroying Earth if more powerful Earthlings revolt against him, Hit changing his thoughts about Earthlings being weak to begin resourceful and cunning. Good stuff yeah?😶

God ki is a high level of control of your ki. And since there have been humans with the role of God of Earth before Kami & Dende (Dende has a hint of god ki in both the DBS Anime and Manga), it's possible for humans to tap into that kind of power. However, there is a difference in the power of a lowly god in comparison to a Kaio or GoD like Beerus. I always go back to this, but Krillin's Non-Self State is an example of of an Earthling having some God Ki. Not to the level of Goku or Vegeta who were trained. But similar to a God of Earth who Krillin already eclipses in power. So an Earthling Time Patroller would be the same.
That is very much in character for Freeza to want to destroy Earth is there are too many that can challenge him lol. If most Earthlings became as strong as the Earthling Z Fighters during the Saiyan Saga, they would be stronger than majority of Saiyans who existed. Freeza feared the Saiyans, so being who have better control of their ki would be a threat he would seek to eliminate.
And Hit is right. Earthlings can be powerful, but other aliens have power as a natural advantage. So being cunning & resourceful is what Earthlings have to rely on rather than a built in ability to transform or quickly multiply their power some other way. Good observation from Hit.

So, I figured I'd make a response with a post instead & add some visuals.
Now, idk much about statistics and stuff for Xenoverse 2, so I did a bit of research for comparison. And after looking at stats for Awoken Skills, I also think it would be similar to Potential Unleashed. But, I'd make NSS (short for Non-Self State) an Earthling only ability that performs this way;
STATS FOR NON-SELF STATE📊
Ki Cost: 200
Strike Attack Mod: +12.5%
Blast Attack Mod: +12.5%
Strike Defense Mod: +5%
Blast Defense Mod: +5%
Ki Generation: +60%
Effects: +5% Increased Speed, -3% Stamina Drain
Non-Self State would be a transformation exclusive to Krillin & human created characters. This transformation would only be acquired from training under Krillin. The final test would be facing hordes of enemies until you defeat a certain amount, then you will access Non-Self State. NSS would be the best Earthling transformation that is comparable to Potential Unleashed. It's almost as good but not quite.
For comparison; NSS has weaker Attacks than Potential Unleashed, but has the same Defenses. The Ki Cost of NSS is lower than Potential Unleashed & the ki regeneration is better than Potential Unleashed. However, there is a stamina drain for NSS while Potential Unleashed does not have this drawback.
FOR KRILLIN 🌰⠿
When Krillin uses NSS, he calmly transforms into the form, then has dialogue where he proclaims "Control my energy and mind." & "This is the new me!" & "Let's go!"
Attacks unique to Krillin when using this form;
Selfless Strike: A dash attack with low Super Armor. If the attack connects, Krillin will perform a powerful explosive punch.
Selfless Kamehameha: A stronger form of Krillin's Kamehameha. If you have enough energy, the Super Attack can be pressed again when the attack connects for a second sequence where Krillin puts more power into the attack.
Solar Flare ×100: Krillin performs a Solar Flare attack that lasts twice as long. Just like regular Solar Flare, if sunglasses are equipped, the attack isn't effective.
Solar Flare Fake-out: Krillin prepares for a Solar Flare, but fires a barrage of ki blasts instead.
Destructo Disk Triple Blade: Krillin throws one large disk that splits into 3 smaller disks. Krillin has a small window where he can gaurd or perform strike/blast attacks. Then if the Super Attack input is pressed again within a short time frame, the 3 disks will track the opponent. (If the Kienzan come back at Krillin, he will automatically use Afterimage to dodge them at the cost of some stamina.)
Quick Evade: Krillin creates a purple ki blast and quickly throws it at hid opponent. If it connects, it causes a bit of damage along with a cloud of smoke.
LASTLY...
I agree with more customizable hairstyles, facial features, & clothes! Also Saiyan tails that actually move and wiggle around. I would also like to change the colors of clothing you get from other characters. Like if your CaC is wearing Goku's gi, they can change the orange to yellow. And it would be cool to make a character like Goku wear an alternate color for his gi. And I hope we get transformations for Namekians. I'm pretty sure we will tho since Piccolo got his transformations.
So, you play Dragonball: Xenoverse 2? I remember how said the races are the difficulty of game, which is a little funny given how Xenoverse works. They are different gam mechanics depending on your character's gender, but I'll explain that after the question.
Saiyans have low health, but high attack power. Attack power rises when health is low, all stats rise after reviving. Saiyans obviously have the most transformations in game with different functions. (Different abilities depends on gender.)
Majins have high defense, but low stamina recovery. Defense bonus when stamina is maxed. Stats differ by gender. Purification is the only Majin transformation, which basically makes the OC a Kid Buu clone. (Different abilities depends on gender.)
Earthlings have balanced stats for both offense and defense. Ki refills automatically and attack rises when maxed. Earthlings ride on the flying Nimbus with the Power Pole as a weapon! It's honestly the worst transformation in the game, even with a specific Super Soul that gives it Super Armor. (Different abilities depends on gender.)
Namekians has low attack, but high health and stamina refills quickly. Items are more effective than other races and health is regenerated when low. Namekians has the ability to become a giant swating fighters and shooting diff ranged mouth beams. Duration time depends on how high your stamina stat is.
Finally, the Frieza Race can overpower with fast movement, but they have low health. Their stamina recovers while attacking and their movements speed increases as their health lowers. Frieza Race beings obviously turn Golden.
I honestly made a character of each race. 3 Earthlings, 2 Saiyans, 1 Frieza race, 1 Namekian and 1 female Majin!😶

Yeah I thought about Xenoverse when I made that post (link here for those who may not know what post is being referenced).
It works a bit differently in the games than what it does in canon but thats for balance sake. But its pretty good for the most part. Especially with Earthlings being balanced. But yeah... The Earthling "transformation" is pretty wack. I'd like to see in a future update or in Xenoverse 3 that the Earthlings learn Non-Self State/ Selflessnes State from Krillin as a power up ability. But that's wishful thinking. I doubt they will do that. There isnt much effort focused on humans in DB content.

Now I'm gonna ask you a question. What would you like to see in Xenoverse 3 in regards to races you can play as, power ups/transformations, and story?
I've watched Qaaman's new video about Broly, and 1 small detail he mentioned about Broly popped in my mind: If Saiyans who can go Super Saiyan on Planet Vegeta, they become completely primal, savage and absolute murder\power crazed. This could also add why the from is a legend.😶
Well from my knowledge, there was no Super Saiyan on Planet Vegeta. A super Saiyan only existed many many years ago on their original planet; Sadala. And that Super Saiyan is implied to be Yamoshi (Yamoshi was the first SSG too which is a bit confusing, but I have a theory/explanation about Yamoshi as both SSJ & SSG).
So from the perspective of evil Saiyans, the good hearted Super Saiyan very much was dangerous, powerful, & frightening to them during their battle against the rebels. But, since they were the victors, they could tell the story how they wanted, saying that the Super Saiyan was from them and was savage and primal (as they were in their Oozaru forms). And the evil Saiyans would alter the legend to fit for them, yet still have some truth to it.
By the time we get to the Namek Saga, Vegeta would have a false interpretation of what a Super Saiyan was. Then, Goku would become the legendary Super Saiyan before him.
But, due to being an extreme prodigy of a Saiyan with an abnormal battle power, Vegeta would also be capable of becoming a Super Saiyan through a pure evil heart instead of a pure good heart. So, Vegeta actually made the Super Saiyan legend that was spread by evil Saiyans actually come true.
An interesting fact is that besides Yamoshi, Goku was the first to become a Super Saiyan through a pure good heart. Meanwhile, Vegeta was the first to become a Super Saiyan through a pure evil heart.
First off, I'm so damn sorry for overloading you with questions, you're the only person I can talk to regarding DB.
So I saw a tweet earlier today about a artist requesting other artists so show off their OC's unique transformations. Some where simple, complex, creative and all Saiyan. Then it hit me, other races have transformations that artists can work around. Except for human OCs the closest thing they get is Kaioken. Hell, I have 3 Earthlings OCs, and I can think of a transformation to save my life. I just focus on their respective fighting styles, development with said styles.😶

Its true that other aliens like Saiyans, Freeza, and now Piccolo have physical transformations. Humans don't, but they arent the only ones. Aliens like Hit and Jiren dont have transformations either.

Yo, it's me again! I'm asking question like last time! I have a follow-up to my Ki Control question: Ki Manipulation and Elemental Control
But, here's something kinda new.
Make Earthlings have ki based transformations. Krillin's NSS is a spiritual transformation (transformed ki). Take that idea and run with it. We could give Yamcha a wolf aura which means that an Earthling OC could be give animal auras that encompass the body as human transformations.
Or keep it simple like how SSJ is just a hair change and eye color change along with buffing up a bit. Take inspiration from Roshi's full power form but just make it so an Earhling OC gets a bit more swol but not at the cost of speed and mobility like Roshi's full power form and SSJ grade 3.
Another is to take inspiration from Toppo. He is an alien who doesnt naturally have a transformation, but using GoD energy, his body transformed into a buffer form. Along with a darker complexion and different aura as well as different colored eyes.
This way of designing a transformations is also similar to Piccolo's potential unleashed form where his skin tone changes and he buffs up more. So for a human OC, you could change their eye color, increase their muscle mass, and give them a different aura. The hair doesnt have to change color. That's a Saiyan thing at this point.
So to summarize my lengthy statements...
AURA CHANGE: Color, elemental design, animal aura, ect. Could have flaming aura like Jiren or a watering aura like Jiren's Super Full Power form, something like Toppo's GoD form, or like watery/misty like Krillin's NSS aura.
EYE COLOR CHANGE: Any color or even take away the pupils & irises. All white eyes can look cool. You can even change the eye shape like how the eyebrows connect to the eye when Saiyans go SSJ.
BODY CHANGE: This could be a muscle mass increase, a slight height increase, giving a character a darker skin complextion or a paler complexion. You could even give their skin tints of different colors like red, blue, yellow, orange, ect. Make them transform like the Hulk. You can even have a character turn green (or anither color) like Giovanna from Guilty Gear.
Could even have a talisman used to create a power up. Or even use magic as a power up.
For my OC, Tobi...
Tobi doesnt have a transformation like a Saiyan. He is half human and half Kitsun (fox alien race I made up). He has a few power-ups.
1. SHADOW KITSUN:
A out of control power resulting from Tobi's anger/saddness. Tobi's aura turns black and encompasses his body, making him look like a shadow then a new glowing white aura appears with particles of the aura drifting through the air. It offers better protection from physical and ki attacks but Tobi is barely concious as his emotions take control. Its a short lived power boost that quickly drains his ki. Kinda like how Goku using UI Omen for the first time didnt last long.
2. NON-SELF STATE:
He learns this from Krillin. In my story, Krillin improved it to the point that the 6 dots on his forehead glow white when using the power. (Like Omi from Xailon Showdown.)
For Tobi, his eyes turn a golden yellow while his aura is like Krillin's but he lacks the aura clad fists. This is Tobi's most stable form. He is in complete control of his emotions. His Shadow Kitsun form is in a way the opposite of NSS as well as the "Omen" form to his "Mastered" NSS form.
I was going to give Tobi a beast-like form where he kinda becomes a "were-fox" but, I think that kind of form is better fitting for the full-blood Kitsun characters I have. For them, the beastman form is their true self, but their more human form helps them reserve their power (similar to Zarbon or Freeza).
Anyway, that's how I make transformations for human characters. I take some inspiration from what we know about DB and some inspiration from other shows. I have a few other similar transformations for human characters, but I can speak of those another time.
I hope this helped give you some ideas of how to give your human OCs some transformations. The forms can be in your face changes or subtle changes. Do what fits for your characters. 👍
While reading stuff on the Dragon Ball wiki, I learned that Vegeta really hate the idea of Saiyans breeding with other races because it'll ruin the pride of Saiyans. Honestly explain why he hated Trunks for the most part.😶
Yeah. Makes sense.
Since Trunks did not have an over abundance of pride in his strength like a Saiyan, Vegeta didnt like that about him. But once Trunks stepped up to Vegeta and attacked him, Vegeta gaines some respect for Trunks and his power. Saiyans respect strength and also respect a fighting spirit. (Which is why Vegeta respected Gohan & Krillin & Piccolo to a degree.)
Also to add, Saiyans take great pride in their strength. A half Saiyan is not that strong unless they recieve proper Earthling training so they can use their Earthling potential and Saiyan abilities together that can easily surpass full blood Saiyans. Part of the reason he hated Trunks was because he didn't want any hybrid to be stronger than him. Vegeta's arrogance in his strength (his Saiyan pride) does not like when anyone is stronger than himself. Which is why he told Nappa he did not want to have children with Earthlings (likely by force). Vegeta didn't want to be surpassed because Saiyans are bullies who like to fight weaker opponents.
Saiyans had become a people who were fearful of stronger opponents which is why they would wait for a full moon to attack stronger alien races. They were so arrogant in their strength that they did not like to lose. Like how Vegeta wanted to destroy Earth when Goku made him bleed, even if it meant killing himself too. So long as he killed his opponent, he didnt care.
Bardock was the last Saiyan with the pure nature of a Saiyan. And that was to challenge anyone, even enemies stronger than himself. This is why he attacked Freeza when all other Saiyans and even King Vegeta were too afraid to do so. This pure Saiyan nature that Bardock had is what Goku has. Its why he faces anyone and likes fighting strong guys.
Pure Saiyan nature is very different from Saiyan pride. (I plan to make a post about this one day)
