OOC: How has roleplaying changed?... Well, there is the ridiculous marking blogs as explicit, so good luck when you’re roleplaying with those accounts on getting notifications. Editing the responses has become very tedious, and it seems like every day, something else is changing without real warning, so you have to pray your reply posted, it notified your partner(s), your ask sent, or that your draft saved.

Technical stuff aside... I’m not sure if this is my anxiety becoming worse starting in 2019 or if it’s just the environment, but overall, there seems to be a lot more tension and stress within the RPC. There’s just this...ever existing feeling that I’m not “good enough”. And no, this isn’t fishing for compliments. But it just feels like there’s so much pressure now to be “good enough” with threads, reply speeds, graphics, themes... It’s a little intimidating at times.

Which is why I’m grateful for the close partners I have. <3
