It is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is not only that I am intrigued by Scandinavian cinema, but it is also that I am deeply affected by the storyline. I never thought I would like a black comedy this much. It has humor. It has drama and tragedy. Storytelling is so wise that you laugh at Ove’s eccentric behaviors and you pity him at the same time. You understand why Ove is the way he is. Once you understand him, you feel sympathy for him. You feel happy and proud when Ove gets past his judgements and he learns to accept the people the way they are. He becomes a considerate and sincere person compared to how grouchy and ill-tempered he used to be. It is such a heartwarming movie which tells us being surrounded with love and people who love you and support you makes you feel less lonely, even though you live alone.
