Sighing deeply as you unpacked your luggage. You were staying with your best friend, Jess for a while. You were in the process of finding your own place but it was proven difficult, everything was either not in your budget or was just not fitting for you. You had recently gone through a break up.
One that cut deeper than you expected. Placing the neatly folded clothing inside the drawer. Once You were fully unpacked You took the suit cases and placed them in the closet neatly and showered.
Getting out the shower, You placed on the clothes that was on the bed, making your way down the stairs. Seeing Jess and her husband talking. “Hi, Y/n” Adam greeted, You smiled waving at him then Jess. “Hey, Adam. Hi Jess.” Jess smiled her goofy grin, nodding her head. “Hi, Pretty. How was your shower?” Sitting at the island, rubbing your shoulder just a little bit. “Super soothing, like that shower is amazing. Like it should be a crime how soothing it is.” Adam laughs softly. “I’m glad you liked it, I’m going to leave you two to it.” He kisses her and walks away, You slightly squirmed and looked down at the tea that she placed in front of you, You always envied Jess and Adams love. Their love was something of the making.
“So, are you up to getting cute and coming out with me tonight?” She grinned, her bob shaking as she bobbed her head in a playful manner.
Little did you know, Adam and Jess had been discussing you and how they believe you and her co star, Julio, would make a beautiful couple. Julio was a great guy, and honestly one of the kindest and sweetest men she knew aside from her husband, and she knew you needed someone who would be the there and never walk away, Julio was perfect for you and all she wanted was her best friend to be happy and in love.
“Not really, I wanted to get some sleep. That was a pretty long flight, I’m a little tired.” You answered.
She looked disappointed. And, she was because this was the first time that you and Julio would get to meet. At least until her little get together around the house. “Alright fine, where you trying to go?” You didn’t want to say no, after all, she did open her home to you in your time of need, no questions asked. “Where you trying to go though?”
She grins. “There is a party for my show. The ending of it rather, all the cast are getting together and I want you to accompany me.”
You had never been to some party in Hollywood, surrounded by a bunch of celebrities, whether it was just for the cast or not. You didn’t want to go half-cocked. “I don’t have anything to wear to that Jess.” She smiled. “You let me worry about that, I have a stylist coming over to dress me in about thirty minutes, she can dress you too.”
“Okay, but doesn’t that be costly?”
She fanned her hand. “Don’t you worry your pretty little head on the cost, Its on me. I GOT you until you are able to get on your feet. It’s alright, I know you are in a tight position right now.” You knew even if you did get on your feet and give jess the money back, she would never accept it. That’s just how she was. She was a kind hearted person, and you were grateful she was your friend and she was grateful to have you as well.
“Oh. Thats the one.” Jess and her stylist grinned as the beautiful brown dress hugged your curves.
It was latex, something highly out your comfort zone. But the party was casual, not too fancy and it of course, looked so great on you, topping it off with some gorgeous designer pumps. and your hooped earrings, your naturally curly hair was now straight and slicked back into a high-up ponytail, your nails was freshly redone with a light pink paint, and almond shaped and short. “It looks the bomb.” The stylist compliments.
“Really compliments your complexion and everything,”
You didn’t know whether to be offended or appreciated. You smiled a tight lipped smile, looking over at Jess who was looking incredible. “You look incredible!” You cheesed. She smiled. “Thank you, are you all set and ready to go?” You felt like when you walked, you squeak. That was the only thing you did not like about the dress, seating in the back of the car, You placed your clutched down beside you. “You really do look amazing.” Jess compliments.
You both entered the building, But it wasn’t long before you each party ways. She went about her business once she had seen you close by Julio, as you approached the little variety bar. The party was at the Directors home, which, of course made it a private party and you needed to be invited to get in unless you were someone’s plus-one. “Hello.” Julio says as he was just an inch apart from you, fixing his plate. Considering it was just a down-to- earth party there were no servers. It was just a casual gathering. “Hi,” You smiled up at him. You finally came face to face to him and got a good look at him.
And he got a good look at you. He placed some of the finger foods on his plate first. You both reached for the pigs in a blanket at the same time, causing a slight chuckle. “I’m sorry. You go first.” You stepped away, grabbing some other food something that you knew would feel you up.
You were completely tired and wished you were cuddled up and asleep but, here you were. You couldn’t complain though, you were meeting Julio. You always had a little crush on his character Spooky, and to see him in person and see that he was just as handsome, you were intrigued. “You’re fine, Do I know you though? Are you one of the extras?” He asks. You shook your head no. “No, I came with one of the cast members. I’m Jess’ plus one.” You smile, Julio found it upsetting that his close friend had hid someone so beautiful from him.
Now, Julio was in the market and looking but he didn’t want someone in the industry. He wanted someone who was outside of the industry, someone who would understand he was just as normal as everyone else and not the big time celebrity, who broke out with ON MY BLOCK or on the Netflix series Selena. He was more than just Spooky or Los Dinos. He was Julio Macias. Nothing more, nothing less. “Ah, I was just about to say, I would hope to have remembered a face like yours.”
“Is that a compliment?” You slightly blush.
He chuckled. Oh that smile, those perfect teeth... Could this man not be anymore perfect? He was just amazingly beautiful, “like it should be illegal for someone to be this fine.” you said to yourself, mentally. “It is. It’s a compliment, Just mean to say you’re a beautiful woman and I would never forget the face of someone as beautiful as you.” You blush, shaking your head finishing fixing your plate.
The evening was going great, everyone was giving speeches and you were just seated next to Jess, Julio was up now wrapping up his speech, “I guess what I’m trying to say is.. I’m thankful to have had this opportunity, and most importantly. I am thankful for this cast- who is more than just a cast- my familia. I thank you all,” Everyone clapped, You clapped as well, your eyes was full of lust, desire and want.
You were no longer wanting to mingle wot everyone else. You wanted Julio Macias.
Could anyone be any more perfect? He was just perfect, it was something about him that you craved and wanted. “Enjoy my speech?” He smiled over at you, he found himself wanting to enjoy your company more than anyone else’s. And no one minded it, because they wanted Julio to find someone; especially Jess. SHE knew from the minute she met him, that he would be perfect for you- He was just your type but this time- He was one who would never switch up. She saw you marrying him, and Jess was always right.
“I did, its real nice to see all of you formed this bond. I like the fact Jess had all of you, it’s nice to see how close all of you are.”
Julio dropped his head low then back up, he flashed that smile again. “It’s pretty loud in here, would you like to go somewhere more quiet?” You nod, He took your hand and led you through the many people surrounding the back yard and into the house, being that he’s been here plenty of times before, he knew the place like the back of his hand and he knew the perfect spot- The office.
“Something is telling me you didn’t bring me in here to just talk, Julio.”
You was being stern but deep down, this was one time, You didn’t mind having a one night stand. “I did, But if you want to do more- That’s entirely up to you.” He places a hand on his chest whilst the other rested his glass of tequila on the desk he was leaned against. You blush shaking your head, you had butterflies in the pitting of your stomach and you liked this feeling- Feeling no other man gave you. “I’m not one for one night stands.”
“Whose to say it has to be one night?” He questioned with a warming smile.
You smirked slightly, shaking your head. “So, Julio, did you enjoy playing Spooky?” You wanted to change the subject, not wanting to come off as easy, but you couldn’t lie, you was not in the mood for introductions, you wanted him, right here and right now. You wanted to feel his lips against yours. You wanted to feel him inside you. You wanted to feel something other then heartbreak, was that too much to ask?. “I did, but I want to know more about you. How come I’ve never seen you around before?”
“Up until today, I was living in Augusta.” You answered, “But, I’m here for now.”
He smiled. “Good, I would like to take you out some time.” You were hesitated at first, but you couldn’t let your heartbreak stop you from making moves anymore. “I would like that.” Julio smiled softly, You walked a little closer. “Is it bad that deep down, I want you to kiss me and I don-” You were cut off by his lips pressing against yours, his hand on the back of your neck. The other moving from the center of your back to the lower, you kissed him back, the few pecks turned into tongue wrestling and hands caressing each others bodies, you pulled away from him, “No, this can’t- I need to go.” You stumbled out of there, leaving behind your purse and earring- hell even your jacket. “Jess, I’m extremely tired. I need to go...”
With that, you exited. Julio rushed out with your things, casing the backyard for you.. But you were gone. Did he do something wrong?
