Scrrch...scrchh....
Roll dragged her feet along the digital floor of the net, cheeks red and puffy from crying, screaming, and being miserable in general. She coughed, as she kept her head down. She didn't have the energy to raise it any higher. She was worried about Mayl, Mega, and all of her other friends too.
"Who knew you had such a soft side, Rockman!"
Roll perked up at the voice. To be fully honest, it sounded like her own. Roll whirled around to see a pink navi and...Mega???
Roll squinted her eyes to get a closer look at Mega's new friend, but she felt her heart crumble to pieces as soon as she realized who she was looking at. A Roll. Another Roll. Did Mayl replace her that fast?
Roll fell to her knees in agony. She didn't want to move on anymore. She wanted to delete herself, but for some unknown reason, she couldn't. Roll clutched her chest. This was the worst feeling she could ever have. She didn't know she could ever be so bereft of friends...family...and everything she ever took for granted. Roll breathed and looked up at the two Navies approaching her. Of course they didn't know she was there.
She watched them laugh.
She watched them smile.
She watched them blush.
Out of all the things she could have done, Roll simply gave a sincere smile.
"Lovebirds huh?" she chuckled softly. Roll turned and gazed at all of her friends, and smiled again. At least her friends will be in good hands with the new Roll. She wondered how everyone else was doing as well.
"Of course I won't leave you alone guys...I could never do that..." She closed her eyes and smiled. She reached out to the approaching Navies. "I'm sorry I was so selfish earlier, it won't ever happen again."
She smiled for the final time. "Thank you for everything guys..." The tips of her fingertips touched Mega's forehead, and she slowly faded away into the net.
