I just feel like it’s unfair that every time I want to smoke I have to roll🙄

rolling again

& then the time came

I froze

didn’t matter the years I’d taught

the eyes upon me

classes of 30 or 40

that day I stood up

& nothing

I didn’t feel it

had nothing to say

or at least nothing came out

did not feel me

feel the crowd

feel what I had to say

so I sat back down

took a drink

remembering the first time

I taught a lecture theatre 100+

walked in one door

put my notes down

walked out the other door

went & threw up my lunch

walked back in

picked my notes up

said hello feeling hollow

let the words ideas flow

I could do that again now

took another sip

said Hello
