Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Put the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy. Mix the egg and vanilla extract into the flour mixture and beat it well. All-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt should all be mixed together in a different bowl using a whisk. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until a dough forms. Split the dough in half and roll out each half into a disc. Cover with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for at least one to two hours. Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on baking sheets. Outline a chilled dough disc and cover it with flour. Roll it out until it is about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out the shapes you want with cookie cutters and place them on the baking sheets that have been prepared. Repeat cutting out shapes until all the dough is gone. Don't throw away the scraps. The cookies should be in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are set. Once the cookies are cool enough, move them from the baking sheets to a wire rack to finish cooling. You can put icing on them, sprinkles on them, or leave them plain once the cookies are completely cool. Have fun with your tasty brownie roll-out cookies!
