Ingredients: 2 cups mixed vegetables broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snow peas. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1 tablespoon minced garlic. 1 tablespoon minced ginger. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. 1 tablespoon cornstarch. 1/4 cup water. 1 teaspoon sugar. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. Cooked rice for serving.
Instructions: Prepare the vegetables by washing, peeling, and chopping them into bite-sized pieces. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, sugar, and red pepper flakes if using. Set aside. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to become tender but are still crisp.
