I’ve got a big change in my life coming up. I’ve accepted a job starting a program from scratch at Montana Tech and will be moving to Butte in early January. I’m beyond excited to return to Montana and I’m anxious to take on the challenge ahead of me. The hardest part of all of this is leaving my athletes. I have been rather glum for the past two weeks in anticipation of this, it truly feels like a piece of me is missing. You all have been my family for the last year and a half and that’s not a lie, it’s not just something you say as a coach, it’s the way I lived. It was always my privilege to do what I did and serve as your coach and I’m grateful for it. Thank you to each and every one of you. A coach is only as good as his athletes, and you guys made me look pretty darn good. If I could take all 32 of you with me I would, but I know you all have great things coming ahead. I will miss you all dearly and I’m always here for you if you ever need me. I will be your biggest fans moving forward. #RollWarriors Thank you also to Mason for giving me the opportunity and to Perk for completing a great staff, I learned a ton and thoroughly enjoyed working with you two. Winona State will continue to do big things and advance on the national stage. Looking forward, I’m humbled and grateful for Matt Stepan for believing in me from the very beginning. I look forward to putting Tech on the map. #MontanaTech #GoDiggers https://www.instagram.com/p/B6TFYZ5n-Rz/?igshid=13ztr9epc64bn
